The Wanderlust is a lovingly restored vintage camper, that has been transformed into a small luxury apartment on wheels. The Wanderlust offers a romantic, quirky, different but however very comfortable type of accommodation for people who want a different experience. It represents the spirit of the 1960's. Situated in one of the nicest suburbs of East London, Bonnie Doon the location is very close to famous Nahoon Surfing Beach in easy reach of the city center, restaurants and coffee shops. The space The Wanderlust has been restored to its 1950's glory with some modern African accents like cushion and seat covers made from West African Wax Fabric. With its over 6 meter length the caravan is very spacious, has a queen size bed, a fridge, small stove, a water kettle and toaster. The Wanderlust offers a romantic, quirky, different but however very comfortable type of accommodation for people who want a different experience. It represents the spirit of the 1960's. Situated in one of the nicest suburbs of East London, Bonnie Doon the location is very close to famous Nahoon Surfing Beach in easy reach of the city center, restaurants and coffee shops. The space The Wanderlust has been restored to its 1950's glory with some modern African accents like cushion and seat covers made from West African Wax Fabric. With its over 6 meter length the caravan is very spacious, has a queen size bed, a fridge, small stove, a water kettle and toaster. True to the style of the 1960's the caravan has a portable black and white vintage TV receiving the public channels. The Caravan has its own small modern toilet inside. On the deck there is a basin for washing hands and dishes. There is a large outside bathroom with a corner bath and shower as well as another toilet five meters away. A deck and bamboo roof has been built around the Wanderlust so guests can enjoy the green scenery in the valley when sitting on the deck and sipping on a glass of wine. The Wanderlust is fully furnished with original 1950's crockery and cutlery and other 1950's kitchenalia like pots, pans a fondue set, ice crusher, ice bucket etc. The Retro camper is surrounded by big old trees and it is a paradise for bird lovers and bird photographers. Over sixty different species of birds have been identified on the property.
