The huge balcony has views of both the open ocean and the Aitutaki lagoon including Maina and Honeymoon Islands. During whale season you can see whales from the balcony.
400m from the water, and a 5 minute walk from town, you can catch water taxi's to your favorite island location, or go on a day cruise of the lagoon leaving from just around the corner.
A maximum of 7 guests can be accommodated upon request with an additional charge of $20 per person per night ( for persons 6 and 7).
There is a queen bed in the main bedroom, and a double bed with a single bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom. An additional queen sized sofa bed is available for use on request.
If visiting the Cook Islands from the UK, Europe or America, we recommend splitting your visit between Rarotonga and Aitutaki, but also consider adding in the Islands of Mangia and Aitu for a complete Cook Island experience. Flights depart from Aitutaki to both these Islands regularly, and return to Rarotonga. See Air Rarotonga's website for flight schedules.

No weddings or large gatherings are allowed at the Villa as we do not have sufficient infrastructure such as toilets to support large groups. There are a number of lovely venues of the island that can accommodate a wedding.
Aitutaki is an untouched paradise, and provides a very laid back environment ideal for exploring on water or land, or simply just relaxing.
Te Vai Moana is located on the west side of the island in the village of Nikaupara, which adjoins the town area of Arutanga. The Villa has easy access to water taxi's from the main wharf in town, and lagoon cruises departing from nearby.
Located 400m from the water, it has stunning views of the lagoon and open ocean from its expansive deck.
The Villa is self-contained, has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, large fridge and island bench.
The dining table seats 8 comfortably. There is a separate large laundry on the ground floor.
The villa has a minimum stay of 3 nights, and discounts apply to stays of a week or more. It is highly suitable for longer stays.
*If you're travelling from Europe or the UK to the Cook Islands, we recommend you spread your stay between Rarotonga and Aitutaki, and also add on 3 nights in Atiu, and even Mangaia. Flights depart regularly from Aitutaki to Atiu, and Atiu to Rarotonga, so you can add this additional experience on with little extra cost.

How to get there
We offer transfers to and from the AItutaki airport at a cost of $10 per person each way.
We also recommend a hire car or scooter/s for some of your stay so you can really explore the island. There are a number of bicycle rental places available. Cycling is another great way to explore the island.
We have preferential car hire arrangements for our guests - details are provided upon request.
