This property is located at the top of a steep and treacherous hill - you need four wheel drive to get up here and it is difficult at night. Once you are up the hill, however, the setting could not be more beautiful. Infinity pool and a 180 degree view of the Pacific. The owners were not on the property when we were there (they had rented out all of the available apartments in the house, which are many) but I did talk to Peter not the phone and he was helpful and welcoming. The caretaker does not speak any English, but he was helpful nonetheless. There are some downsides to renting the Gecko cabin in particular - it is located on the ground floor of a two story auxiliary building on the property. When we were there, the people above us had 2 kids and got up very early (6 am) and wore shoes in the house; since we are not early risers, this was a problem for us. Also, the pool is lovely, but it was not clean when we were there. Otherwise, a lovely retreat.
