This villa is incredible,everything was perfect,clean,full of light and has the best view in Manuel Antonio,I wanna be there another time for sure.Thanks to Fernanda she is really kind.

Perfect villa
Casa Lucero is the best and we loved it. We enjoyed the house and also explored the towns, beaches and parks. The house is set up high on the mountain with stunning views of the ocean & wildlife. Pool is amazing and the perfect escape.
Maria helped us tremendously - she is the best! The house is super well-equipped, beds are comfy, and gave our family of 4 (adult & teen) a lot of space to be together and also on our own. It was Zen....and would definitely recommend and return. Very happy that we found Casa Lucero!

The perfect place to truly relax
Anyone considering Casa Lucero “go for it!” This home looks amazing on line but pictures can’t do it justice! A panoramic view from every window and every balcony. Even our new local friends wanted to take pictures. The Casa is beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings. The bedrooms are huge with wonderful firm king beds. The pool with the swim up bar makes every day feel like a 5 star resort! The Property Manager Thomas was very professional and answered any calls or emails very quickly. The maid service was excellent and the Casa was spotless when we arrived. I highly recommend treating yourself to the private chefs at least once. This was our third visit to Manuel Antonio and by far our most wonderful, elegant and relaxing experience!!! Casa Lucero is just PERFECT!!!!

Absolutely fabulous villa. Breathtaking views
Casa Lucero is, by far, the most amazing place we have ever stayed. Pictures can’t convey how magnificent the views are. From the large veranda you can see the ocean, the new harbour and impressive sunsets, just grab a glass of wine and relax on the loungers. We loved watching the boats go out in the morning and return in the evening. The coastline to the N/W disappears into the horizon, and to the North is the town of Quepos and a mountain range, which can be seen from the pool area. The landscaping is gorgeous and there is a choice of sun and shade in all areas. We loved spending time at the awesome infinity pool, the sun beds are very comfortable. Bring binoculars as the beautiful birds, butterflies and wildlife are abundant.
The villa itself is modern and immaculate and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could need. We prepared many meals, including BBQs in the evening. The bedrooms have A/C but the breezes kept the villa cool for the most part. Everything is also provided in the bathrooms, including towels for the pool and beach.
Greg and Sheri were especially helpful and informative and well organized from day one, always ready to answer any questions we had. Our contact at the villa, Maria, was a joy to work with. She helped with groceries, we had food there when we arrived, and went over everything with us so we were familiar with the set up and area. She arranged transportation, booked excursions and booked our rental car for us (4 x 4 is a must to get around everywhere). Excellent service at all times.
Thank you all for a most memorable stay. 10 days was not enough!!!

A beautiful, restful, and romantic getaway
We loved everything about our stay. The villa sits on a mountaintop overlooking the Pacific, with beautiful endless views over both the water to the west and the mountains to the north. There were lots of areas to spend the day, from the infinity pool to a shaded veranda to a sunny double lounger. There is a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ, but we spent our time eating out at some of the amazing 75 restaurants in Manuel Antonio, a couple of minutes down the road. The interior is newly and very tastefully renovated. There are two very similar bedrooms on either end of the building, each with a private bathroom with double sinks and rain shower. The bed was especially comfortable. The AC worked well and each room also has ceiling fans. The living room was a nice place to spend the evening. Every morning, we got up at dawn and had coffee on the sofa in the veranda as we watched the world come to life. Brightly coloured birds and flowers were everywhere. We bought wine, drinks, and fruit at a large supermarket nearby and kept our fridge well stocked. Various excursions were available but we decided that the time at the villa was just too precious to leave it, so we spent all our time relaxing there and only left to go out for breakfast and in the evenings.

A Stunning Oasis of Beauty and Relaxation
Casa Lucero has incredible views of both the Pacific Ocean and the mountains. The Villa is spotlessly clean, with a huge shower in each bathroom. The outdoor pool has a fountain and pool bar to float the day away. It is pure bliss. We loved trying out the fabulous restaurants in Manuel Antonio, where you can easily spot sloths and monkeys. The Manager Thomas is always available to schedule any activities you like, from rain forest tours to sunset boat cruises, there is so much to choose from. We will definitely go back!

About the neighbourhood
The Casa is located between Manuel Antonio and Quepos, Costa Rica. Both towns are located on the Central Pacific Coast, less than 100 miles from the capital of San José. Enjoy balmy year-round temperatures that average from 81⁰ to 90⁰F (27 to 32⁰C) and year-round 85⁰F (29.5⁰C) ocean waters. Manuel Antonio is Costa Rica’s honeymoon capital and most exotic tropical destination. The Manuel Antonio area combines timeless tropical scenery and one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in Costa Rica which has, as backdrop, emerald-green forests and lush hillsides. The public beach of Playa Espadilla offers excellent swimming, rental of beach chairs, sun umbrellas, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and surfing lessons.

How to get there
If you are arriving from outside of Costa Rica, book your flight to the Juan Santamaría International Airport in the capital city of San Jose. You then have several options to get to Quepos / Manuel Antonio and the Villa.
You can rent a car and drive. It will take about 2 1/2 hrs. (We recommend that you rent a 4X4 to navigate the driveway to the villa … a small price to pay for the magnificent view so close to the ocean.)
You can also book a Shared Shuttle or taxi from the San Jose Airport.
Lastly, you can book an additional inexpensive flight to the Quepos La Managua Airport and rent a car from there.
