Villa
Villa Tekla is a distinctive three-bedroom, three-level Spanish-Moorish hacienda, an eco-friendly villa designed for the tropics, on five acres of forest and landscaped grounds, with ocean and mountain views, set off the main road. It has extensive patios, is fully furnished and immediately below it is a private lap pool. It can easily accommodate three couples and is suitable for families traveling together. Very private.

Wanted to stay!!
This home was so perfect we wanted to stay forever! The location was ideal-a quick drive to Manuel Antonio national park as well as numerous wonderful restaurants and the town of Quepos. The grounds were beautifully lush and included a pool which we enjoyed frequently! I can't recommend Villa Tekla too highly.

At one with nature
This villa took some getting used to. In our 1st night we were awakened by nature at its best. There were strange noises and wildlife from outside greeting us. By the 2nd night we had all become accustomed to this. The villa is beautiful and once you get past the fact that there is glass covering the Windows, all is good. This was our first time staying in a place like this and we have no regrets. Go with an open mind and it will be an great experience! The manager of the villa (Rebecca) was super nice, social and resourceful. We had no issues finding our way around the neighbourhood and the drive to the beach took only about 8-10 mins. All in all...great trip!!

Great view, surrounded by nature
We mostly liked the abundance of life all around. We saw Toucans and iguanas and numerous birds species. This is nicely located too. Assistance from owner and person in charge of welcoming us was great.

A super-cool relaxed place full of character!
Great location, overlooking the jungle, lots of animals around to spot! We saw monkeys, lizards, and even a sloth from our patio! The swimming pool is fantastic. The night sounds of nature are a perfect way to fall asleep. Yes, there are no classic windows, but that means the breeze and the sounds of nature come in freely. All the amenities worked great. The property manager, Rebecca, is great, very helpful and friendly. There is a mini market literally right out of the property. Even though the property is situated in a residential area, it has the feel of being isolated in the jungle. Very close to Manuel Antonio Park, to El Avion Restaurant and tons of other restaurants. Highly recommend!

Paradise Surrounded by Beaches and the Jungle
Our group of 6 friends were amazed how beautiful the villa was situated. It was close to Biesanz Beach and Manuel Antonio Beach and the jungle was in the back yard. We saw capuchin and titi monkeys, iguanas, birds and a sloth. It was amazing. The villa had so much room for 6 people especially having an open concept. However, there are screens on the windows and shudders as there are no classic windows. The lap pool was a great amenity having to swim in the morning and evening before and after our outings.
Rebecca was a great host and gave us a warm welcome. She gave us a ton of useful information. If ever I came back to Costa Rica, I would definately come here again.

About the neighbourhood
Villa Tekla is location on the largest lot in the area and is completely private. There is a small store good for basics just outside the main property entrance. It is off the main road so there is little traffic and noise.
An eight-minute walk toward the beach brings you to a supermarket named Super Josette, which has everything you need: fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, and a wide selection of juices, beer, wine, and liquors and an excellent juice and wine selection.
Rebecca Wells is our villa manager in Manuel Antonio who lives only a few minutes down our road. She and her husband Jacob are completely bilingual and will help you with any problems, and will assist you with arrival arrangements.
Getting around
A car is not necessary as the area has many private taxis and a regularly scheduled bus connects the nearby town of Quepos with the beaches.

How to get there
Once you leave Quepos towards the beaches be on the alert for Villas Lirio on your left (about a five minute ride, it is preceded by Hotel Vista Serena on the left). In front of Villas Lirio you will find the road to Villa Tekla. Continue up the road (less than one minute) until you’ve passed Video Bayron, just before the small Super Joseth store. Villa Tekla is on the left marked by a black gate and a sign bearing the name.
