Wonderful. Relaxing.
This penthouse rental was better than expected. The photos do not do the space justice. I recently (Aug '13) traveled with a group of 9 everyone felt quite comfortable. We enjoyed having goregous views of the sunrise and beach.Phil and Evelyn were very accomodating in the planning process (nine people=tons of questions) they were extremely helpful and we greatly appreciated that. The rooms were a perfect size (even with three of us sharing a room, we did not feel as if we were on top of each other). The location is perfect; close to just about any and everything you could need while staying in Jaco, transportation/bus stop, supermarket, restaurants, and drug stores. Not to mention the apt is equipped with plenty to make you feel right at home. We did take a ride to Herradura beach (the sand was a bit softer than the sand on Jaco beach) which was no more than ten minutes but enjoyed the pool nearly every morning. The staff at Daystar were very friendly and helpful as well. In inquiring about certain activities, the ladies were very candid and spared us disappointment. I highly reccommend this unit.

Jaco in style
Phillip was very responsive, thorough and informative. Condo was just as pictured and centrally located. I've stayed in a number of vacation rentals thru the years and this was one of the best. If you enjoy luxury and value this is it in Jaco.

Stay in Costa Rica Like a Rockstar!
"Our stay at the 9th floor penthouse at the Diamante Del Sol, was amazing! We had a 180 view of the ocean/beach and mountains. Several of the rooms had balconies. All of the restrooms are well kept and updated as you can see in the pictures. The condo was walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants, bars, and especially the CASINO!! =] I have no complaints other than I wished I was still in Costa Rica."

A++++++++ Condo A++++++++ Owner
Absolute beautiful property with all the amenities you'd want from a vacation Condo including: Security; Pools; Beach and beach access; and easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and nightlife. Also, if you prefer to just relax at the Condo, there are plenty of decks overlooking priceless views of the Pacific and south end of town and the interior furnishings are plush, clean and comfortable. Awesome kitchen and plenty of cooking utensils if you're so inclined. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well equipped. Thanks Phil (Owner) for providing such a lovely property for us all to enjoy.

We rented this penthouse condo Mar 14-21, 2015. It is stunningly beautiful, breathtaking views of the ocean, and right on the beach. Gorgeous pool as well. Our son had the best time boogie boarding in the ocean and swimming in the pool.(thanks for providing all the water toys and nice quality beach towels to use!!)
There were 4 adults and 1 child in our group--there was a bedroom and bath with showers for each of us. The beds were comfortable, and bedrooms private and quiet. My sister said that was the best sleeping she has had in a long time!!
Phil and Evelyn, the hosts of this condo have it beautifully furnished and everything you could possibly need is there for you! We had trouble with the A/C (operator error--not mechanical issue) and Phil had it taken care of immediately. Phil and Evelyn were attentive, but not intrusive. They were readily available, easy to contact with immediate return communication.
We all said this was the best, most beautiful rental we have had thus far. Yes, the pix on the website are honest--it is THAT gorgeous!!!! In addition, we appreciated the security of the condo complex, we always felt safe and secure.
We also asked Phil and Evelyn their recommendations for places in Jaco to eat. They were spot on with the recommendations--we loved the food/restaurants they recommended.
Thank you Phil and Evelyn for providing your beautiful condo for rent--and for helping us have a most memorable and pleasant stay in Costa Rica!!!

Amazing.
The owner Phil did a great job, always available. Answered all our questions, very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this penthouse if you are traveling in a big group.

Awesome Place. Would Definitely stay here again
Place is huge. We went as a group of 8. The views were beautiful from all balconies/terrace. We used the grill one night to cook burgers. Living room/Dining area has plenty of open space where you don't feel like anyone is in the way. Showers have hot water and good pressure which is definitely a plus for me. Sound system was great as well. Pool table definitely was good to have during down time. Centrally located in Jaco Beach area with a beautiful view of the beach from the living room terrace . Looking forward to my next stay.

5-star accommodation for all types of vacationer
On our first vacation in Costa Rica we couldn’t have asked for anything more from the luxurious accommodations (Diamante Del Sol 9th Floor, 3000+ sqft, 4 Bedroom). The modern touches with expansive living space added to our comfort and relaxation when travelling abroad with friends and family. While vacationing with a group (8 adults), you realize many of the subtle details that puts this property ahead of comparables in the area; a sprawling shared space, extra-large fridge, multiple balconies with plenty of sitting space, ample amount of cooking space (bbq, large countertops), bathroom in each room, location of bedrooms away from common areas (privacy/quiet if needed), pool table, games, TV in common and bedrooms. The layout was perfect for a large group and the quality finishes provided a spectacular backdrop to the paradise you’ll find once outside the doors.
The grounds themselves are kept spotless and host a concierge on site for all your Costa Rica related questions. There was tons of available parking, and helpful security members around (pool and front gate) whenever needed. The pool is immaculate with tons of space and pleasant waterfalls. It also had showers, change rooms and washrooms on site to save you trips to your room. We never had to battle for a lounge chair, sunny/shady area, or a place to wade in the water with so much efficient use of space. The easy beach access is worth celebrating as we could take a few steps outside of the pool gates and onto a huge, breezy and an easy-to-walk beach.
With so many amazing amenities, it is almost unfair to tell you that this place has something even better going for it, the location. The property is in a central location within the main stretch of beach/street, you are a reasonable drive from the airport, and only steps from all that Jaco has to offer. A lot of local and homegrown restaurants line the streets or you can take advantage of the many well-stocked grocery stores like we did. If you like cafes, bars and/or shops, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from at all times of day. Though one is also onsite, you are close to a variety of tour companies that can coordinate your trips to adventures, adjacent beaches or two beautiful national parks all within an hour’s drive. No matter what type of vacationer you are, you can find what you are looking for within walking distance of Diamante Del Sol.
All told, this ocean view property was the perfect backdrop to our winter getaway.

Awesome Vacation
My wife and I stayed in this unit with 5 friends. Everyone loved the penthouse the pool the beach and the community. 6 of us work in law enforcement and we were amazed how safe we felt. We had no issues and my wife and I just booked a month for next year in one of the two bedroom units.

The house was welcoming, the staff and security were very professional. The property manager even let us checkin very early since our flight came in the morning. The Ac was ice cold, the sheets were clean, every amenities you need is at your finger tip. The view was indeed worth a million dollars. Overall, all my friends love the penthouse and we will be back again.

Delluz Vacation Rentals provides property management and guest services for our condo. You will check-in and receive your keys at their office during regular business hours (8am - 5pm).

Take the first or second exit for Jaco. Once you reach main street Pastor Diez at the end of the road for either exit turn left. You will drive past the central park on your left, the Delluz office will in on the next block on the right hand side next to the Century 21.
At check-in the Delluz staff will have you sign the short term rental agreement, review the family friendly policy. They will also take a credit card voucher for incidental charges and for a security deposit. Your card will not be charged at this time.
They will provide your party with key code to access the condo. Diamante del Sol is located beach front directly behind the Delluz office. Security at the Diamante front gate will be expecting you and your party.
