Free your mind
I was a bit skeptical about this place when I heard about it the first time. I mean, so what if it's all white? But when my group of 70+ people went for a Bhuj outing, Rann Utsav was first in the list of places to see. And was I surprised! We walked into the salt for nearly a kilometer and it seemed like it would never stop. We went right near sunset time and it was absolutely the best scene to take in. Definitely a place to visit to free your mind, take a deep breath, and look out into the never ending horizon of salt and sky.

Something differnt :)
Had a great time... white salt desert, camel ride, excellent food and arrangements.... Battery operated vehicles are available all the time in the Utsav Camps. Evening cultural programs and shopping also to enjoy during your free time....must try magnetic point if you take your own vehicle.. we could feel the car rolling uphill against gravity.....Worth visiting!

one of the best trips
its so beautiful to see the white rann..it looks like miles of snow and the blue sky..esp at sunrise and sunset it is one of the most fulfilling experience.the tent accomodation is like any other 3 * hotel and the food quality and variety is excellent. The adventure sports they offer are so good and of good quality , they are like any offered out of india.we did para motoring which was amazing.also did segway.and last but the best there was ganga spa which was offered to relax with massages.In short ,Gujarat Tourism has done an excellent job about it. also the drop and pick up management is good. One suggestion would be that kala dungar trip starts at 4 pm instead of 230 pm because its too long a wait for sunset .
