The Kutchh Courtyard is a perfect set up, for people who want to experience the serenity and the slow pace of rural living. Its just right for those looking to pause for relaxation and comforts of a home. This house blends in seamlessly with the local way of life and its surroundings. Utmost care has been taken to see that nothing disturbs the rural culture, its natural environment or its peace.
When you stay at The Kutchh Courtyard, you are just within 3 kms of some of the most interesting and most visited places of Kutch like the LLDC museum, the Vande Matram museum, Hiralaxmi craft park, Shrujan, and Khamir.
Its also just the right location to be in, if you want to shop till you drop.
If you are looking for authentic local textiles or very high quality embroidered accessories and garments, there is a beautiful craft shop right at the front. The owners, have been working in the field of crafts, since past 20 years and have been supporting a team of 500 women embroidery artisans generate livelihood.
From hand block printed sarees, ajrakh dupattas, stoles, veg dyed fabrics to quilts and embroidered cushion covers to wall panels and wall decor. Embroidered bags and accessories, indowestern apparels and jewellery, the shop is a visual delight.
The village too is a shopping haven, with each house opening up its front verandah to tourists, displaying textile and crafts to suit every pocket and budget. Perfect location for tourists looking at multiple options to shop.
SPACES.
The aura of this space is sacred and the vibes homely and welcoming. The naturally open green spaces surrounding the house, helps the guest unwind and relax.
As you enter the gazebo, you will feel the warm hug of the house. Its the kind of space, you would want to sip your chai or read a book in peace or just curl up, to watch the day, slowly unfold.
Moving in, you see the heart and soul of the house, its open to sky courtyard. The sight is guaranteed to bring a smile to your lips and lighten up your mood. From maintaining a cooler indoor temperature to providing natural indirect light, it feels lovely in every season.
Moving across the corridoor of handmade cement tiled flooring, is the living and dining area. A cozy space, with east facing glass doors, allowing the first rays of the morning sun to breakthrough, together with the aroma of freshly cooked breakfast infiltrating your senses. There's no other space you would want to be in, before you start your day.Right behind the living and the dining area is a huge garden peripheried by lush green trees and the most sacred space of the house, its temple. The divine vibrations of this place bestows unbelievable peace and tranquility to the entire space.

Rooms.
The Kutchh Courtyard has 6 rooms, to offer their guests. All rooms are on the first floor, connected through a gallery and opens towards the central, open to sky courtyard. Rooms are well furnished with colonial style teak wood furniture, ensuite verandah, attatched bathroom, air conditioning, geyser, electric kettle intercom and wifi access. High wooden ceiling and lavish indoor space ensures maximum comfort for the guests.
Saptparni
Saptparni is a double occupancy rooms, ideal for a couple. If needed, an extra bed, can be easily fitted in. Very spacious and comfortable with a verandah opening up to the front garden, bringing in a little bit of the outdoors inside.
Triveni
Triveni is triple occupancy room with a double bed and a single bed. Ensuite verandah opens up to the beautiful view of the back garden and the temple.
Chaupaii
Chaupaii is triple occupancy room with a double bed and a single bed. Ensuite verandah opens up to the beautiful view of the back garden and the temple.
Pankhudi
Pankhudi is a room with twin bed, ideal for two friends or travel partners. The verandah opens up to the view of lush green trees.
Pratibimb
Pratibimb is a room with twin bed, ideal for two friends or travel partners. The verandah opens up to the view of lush green trees.

Stay here to experience Kutch at its best
One of the best homestays I've stayed in. The rooms are very tastefully done as is the entire house. The owners run a boutique in the same premises and their expertise in design and understanding of local handicrafts is visible all across the house. Moreover, there is a sense of calm and understated luxury all around.
The hosts are very amiable and took us in like we were family. We have very fond memories of this place and it was the highlight of our 7 day tour of Gujarat!!
Totally recommended...it's an experiential stay with the luxury of a modern 5 star and the comfort & care of a homestay.
