Villa Dora is situated in quite neighborhood and surrounded with greenery five minutes drive from medieval town St. Vincent, 20 km north of city of Pula, and 12 km from sea. Our property is easily accessible from all major roads. Villa is 15 km away from Pula airport, 100 km from Trieste, 180 km from Ljubljana and 230 km from Zagreb.
Situated in central Istria, village Stokovci have great location. The principal towns of the region, Pula, Rovinj and Porec are all within a 20 minute drive. Pebble beach of the Adriatic coast along with all kinds of water activities are 12 km away. The medieval town-monument of St. Vincent is just 3 km away. The old architecture of the town and surrounding villages is well preserved. St. Vincent and its surrounding countryside is well known, not only for its historical and cultural legacy but for excellent wine and genuine Istrian cuisine. The city of Pula with its Roman amphitheater and Brijuni national park with a 18-hole golf course is just a 15 minute drive away. Brijuni golf course is dating from 1922 and it is one of the most fascinating in Croatia, in a perfect tranquility with company of deer, mouflon, rabbits or peacocks and provide more then impressive atmosphere!
Must see are beautiful cities of Porec with the UNESCO World Heritage Euphrasian Basilica and Rovinj with its art community and church of St. Euphemias. Great restaurants, taverns, wineries are all around the Villa and there is a mountain bike trail that passes next to it.
Horse riding is available in Manjadvorci: 'Ranch barba Tone', 10 km away.
For a vivid night-life, Porec is best place in whole Istria.
