Another important thing, my condo is equipped with hot and cold shower:) Hot and cold shower is not standard in the Philippines. I had this bad experience before when I booked a place in Cebu for one month, I mistakenly assumed that there is hot and cold shower only to find there was none. I have to suffer for a month because I already paid in advance:( So if you're looking for a condo, always ask the potential host, if it is not stated, don't assume as there is a high chance you will have to live with cold morning showers:). Just an unsolicited advise from a seasoned traveller:) Very close to the major airport. Close proximity to Ocean park, walking distance to a 5 star casino (Hyatt hotel along Pedro Gil), just a quick taxi drive (8 mins) to tennis courts with instructors for only $8 per hour. Just about 20 mins taxi to a golf course. This place never sleeps. Bars and restaurants are just walking distance to each other (and to the condo) and are open almost 24 hours a day. It is also walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to several 24/7 convenience stores such as Seven Eleven, Mini Stop, so you don't have to panic if you run out of soap, toothpaste or if you need a tablet of paracetamol to soothe your headache. About 15 mins walk to US Embassy 5 min walk to Light rail transit (LRT) that will take you almost anywhere in Metro Manila. Other forms of transport such as jeepneys and taxis are everywhere. There is something for everyone. For lovers of historical places visit Intramuros, the oldest place in Manila as old as the 15th century when Spain still rules the country. Advantages of my condo over hotels: 1. My internet speed is 5MBPS and you are the lone user, average internet speed in the Philippines is 1MBPS. On hotels which provides wifi, you are lucky if you get 1MBPS not with so many people logged in at the same router. In many cases you only get less than 0.5 MBPS with frequent irritating drop out connections (most seasoned travellers in the Philippines will agree with me here). I'm just giving an honest advice that when you see a hotel advertising free wifi or even paid wifi, you can't count on it. 3. The view. My condo is at the 43rd floor overlooking Manila Bay and Manila. At 3 star hotels, you have limited view with small window if you're lucky. If unlucky, your room will have no window. 4. The price. Mine is cheaper and what you see is what you get. With hotels, what you see on websites doesn't include taxes and other bills. So when you see a rate of hotels add 15% more and that is the actual rate you will pay. 5. My condo is complete with kitchenware, utensils, stove, etc. You can feel at home away from home. You can cook or prepare

A Detailed Assessment of 43rd Floor Condo
This unit is located in an exceptionally convenient place directly across (south from) Robinson's Place Manila and at the center of the active tourist, expat, and nightlife area. The neighborhood is dirty and sleezy though, with many street transients, beggers, touts, karoke bars, and massage shops. It's no Makate or MOA area, but it is interesting. The waterfront is a 10 minute walk away, Rizal Park 15 minutes, and Intramuros 20+ minutes - all worthwhile excursions by foot. Taxis are abundant in the area but I found them to be selective in their rides. Many would not go to Makate or MOA if they deemed the traffic too bad or the trip too short. The building is 50 stories tall, with a front desk, cafe, laundry droppoff, mini-store, and salon on the 1st floor and a cold water, semi-indoor pool on the 9th floor, along with a dirty, somewhat gloomy gym used by sweaty, uncaring people. Three small elevators (#4 broken) service the building behind a guard and secured gate. Upon checkin, I was issued an access key card for a fair 300P deposit, which I received back upon checkout. Check in went smoothly, with Bing's assistant Cherry meeting me and Rhea the maid showing me to the room. The 43rd floor studio has a wall of windows with a small balcony and impressive, but marginally attractive, city view to the north. The unit had a firm, comfortable bed, small kitchen with dining counter and chairs, clothes closet, and small bathroom with a shower/curtain. The TV had english news channels and 3 english movie channels. The wifi was reliable and adequate for movie streaming. While the floor's garbage room had roaches, I was quite relieved to find none in the room, though there was a constant supply of the common micro ants in the kitchen, despite having no food outside of the fridge and being meticulous with my garbage disposal. The traffic noise and frequent sirens below was noticeable and annoying, even with the balcony door and windows closed. But, fortunately there was no loud bar music and a white noise machine allowed me to sleep all right. To be complete, some negatives need to be addressed. First, labeling this unit as a "fully furnished high end condo' is a gross misrepresentation since I found the unit to be very small and cheap. The narrow, sectionalized unit offered no real sitting area or useable floor space and had a bathroom that was outright cramped. Many of the floor tiles were loose and noisy, the clothes closet a shallow, stupid design, and the furniture cabinetry warped and cheap looking. The balcony door handle was too loose to stay on, a kitchen cabinet handle obviously missing, and the kitchen faucet a rediculous wobbling contraption. The entire quality, looks, feel, and impression of this place screamed "cheap" - not high end. Second, while the unit looked clean, it was in need of a deep cleaning. Without looking too hard, I noticed the filth under the bed and the shelving, the disgusting shower curtain bottom, the caulking and painted areas that needed redone, and the 3 moldy, gross, dirty floor rugs that were so bad I hid them away. Third, the fridge made a most annoying, high pitched, noise whenever it turned on - enough to drive a person mad if you didn't drown it out with something else. Fourth, the bathroom lighting was very poor. Fifth, the kitchenware was subpar beyond the tableware. The one trashed and thrashed pot and similar pan were not even suitable for a camping trip. Sixth, The cheap, no steam iron didn't work well, and the ironing board was obviously broken. Seventh, the provision of bath supplies was quite stingy, including just 2 large towels, 1 hand towel, no washcloths, no bath floor towel, the smallest of toiletries, and 1 very small, cheap roll of toilet paper that wasn't even resupplied when the maid cleaned the room. Further, no hair dryer or tissues were provided, and not even the customary 2 bottles of drinking water. For the listing to suggest that this unit provides "5 star ammenities" is again a gross misrepresentation. Eighth, the elevator access to this high floor unit is the worst I've experienced in 18 years of world wide travel. They've been programmed stupidly, so that they run in tandom up and down the building together, often stopping on the same floors. It was a rare treat to not wait for minutes and have to crowd into a tight, small elevator several times a day, stopping at a surprising number of floors each trip. Many times, the wait and trip was a 10-15 minute annoyance. In summary, I don't mean to denounce this rental entirely, since I've honestly addressed both the good and bad points and given it an "ok" rating. It's a small and cheap but fairly clean, decent place - a fair value and worthwhile option for the convenient location. But, don't expect a high end condo with 5* ammenities.

Thank you for your comment. I will try to improve on those things that you deemed "sub standard". However, you tend to focus more on the negatives and exagerated them for maximum negative impact on my business. . For example the 15 min wait for elevator is absurd. There is no such thing. You are fond of using negative adjectives, say "cheap iron"--instead of being thankful you have an iron. Most condos don't have it. You even found time to criticise other human beings who are on the gym doing work out with you comment ; "somewhat gloomy gym used by sweaty, uncaring people". Hahaha. Of course if you're in a gym, you are sweaty. And how did you know they are uncaring big LOL hahaha. My only conclusion is you are a very negative person, spending a novel of negative vitriol on legitimate businesses. Compared to 3 star hotels priced at USD60 and up, my condo is complete with amenities, gym, pool, etc at only USD 30. 3 star hotels, have no gym, and no pool. I don't have to reply to all your negative points which are either exagerated or imagined. My condo speaks for itself. It is the best value for money in Manila. I didn't even say it is in Makati but you expected a Makati ambiance :) What can I do? But laugh off your comments hahaha.

I regret that you're not happy with the service. The wifi just need resetting and was working again the moment you advised us. As for the water, that was a one off. A blip since the water was always on for the past three years I have the condo. Your stay is only for 3 days and cleaning is not included for a three day stay.
