We love to support our guests' travel.

Great experience
Lovely apartment in the middle of Kyoto. Couldn't have been better and the bathroom is fantastic. The picture don't uite catch how charming the house actually is. We had great three nights and will come back if we visit Kyoto next year again!

Charming introduction to what it would be like to live in Kyoto.
Momiji-an is an excellent choice for a traveler looking to experience more of Japan than a hotel room. The lodging is quite spacious with an upstairs bedroom and a bathroom to-die for. Heated flooring, deluxe coffee maker and a responsive staff who was able to meet every request for information or correction, just as in a good hotel. I love sleeping under a futon, the flowers in the traditional niche were fresh. Step a little bit out of your comfort zone, and be wonderfully surprised.

Superbe maison dans le quartier de Gion
Pour vivre à la japonaise dans une très belle maison. Certes petite pour 5 personnes, mais tout y est parfait : literie impeccable, vaisselle, thé et café fournis, chauffage au sol, salle de bain fonctionnelle, gros lave linge séchant, manque un peu de luminosité mais on est en plein centre de Gion donc on peut se promener de jour comme de nuit en toute sécurtiépour apprécier le quartier. A peine 5 mn pour rejoindre les bus 100, 206 ou 5 qui vont dans toutes les directions de Kyoto. Vraiment un bel endroit à l’accueil parfait.

Nearby Momiji-an there is: convenient store, 24h supermarket, post office, bank, bus stop, restaurants, cafes.

It takes about 15 mins from Kyoto station to the house, and costs about
1000 yen.

-Take No.100 or 86 bus at Kyoto station.
-Get off at " Kiyomizumichi ".
( You can buy a one day bus ticket at Kyoto station or you can pay 230 yen for a adult / 120 yen for a child by cash when you get off the bus )
-Walk to the house 3-5 mins.
