This light-filed loft-style apartment is 200 metres from St Isaac's Cathedral and 600 metres from the Hermitage. We're situated in an inner courtyard, where the noise of the city is only very faintly audible. And we're on the 6th floor, looking over the roof of the building opposite - so there's a panoramic view of sky, treetops, roofs, architectural details, and the tower of the Admiralty building (with which you can almost engage in tete-a-tete conversation). The apartment has been designed as a free-flowing space with no doors (except on the toilet), allowing light to travel unhindered from side to side and end to end. There's a bedroom area (double bed), kitchen area, sitting area (sofa bed), and separate bathroom and toilet. The poster above the sofa is El Lissitsky's 'Bash the whites...

Excellent apartment in the middle of St Petersburg
We stayed here for 5 days in March 2018. The apartment is absolutely central, very close to everything important. Hermitage 10 minutes to walk. You have all you might need in the apartment . A lot of windows so a lot of light. Quiet! no street noise at all. The owner was very helpful .

Little Gem in the Centre of St Petersburg
We visited St Petersburg in September 2016 and rented this little apartment from John Nicolson for our two week stay. It is a beautiful modern apartment right in the old historic centre of St Petersburg - near the Nevsky Prospect, the Admiralty and the Hermitage. One could not ask for a better and more convenient location. Above all it is quite and tranquil, well equipped and John is a superb host - full of knowledge and very helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

Thoroughly enjoyable
Just back from a memorable 6 days in St.Petersburg where we stayed in this extremely comfortable flat. We were met by John, himself, who had kindly purchased not only milk, coffee, sugar, bread and other essentials, but also some white chrysanthemums to match the black and white decoration of the flat. He has a wealth of information on St.Petersburg, restaurants, shops etc. to share with his guests and is most attentive to their needs.
The flat, which has been fully and recently renovated, offers everything you could need, a very comfortable bed, equipped kitchen, efficient shower. It is particularly light and airy with many windows giving you a view over the roofs and towards the Admiralty spire, which is beautifully illuminated at night.
We would fully recommend this flat.
