The chalet consists of a wide living and dining area, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and open kitchen each with en-suite bathroom. Newly built ground floor chalet with an area of 130 meters facing the Arabian sea with all what you need to make your stay pleasant. The place is a perfect choice for people who like nature and seeking relaxation. This gorgeous chalet facing the marvelous Arabian sea with its various aquatic creatures is a perfect stay for you to relax and take a rest from the crowded city. The unforgettable views whether it’s the sunrise, sunset, restless waves or even the fascinating sky at night. Whether you are adults only or you have kids you will find many interesting activities to do here. Things to do: Other than relaxing and enjoying your time during your stay you can do the following: 1) Ras Aljinz Turtle Reserve (19 Minutes by car) Oman has an important role to play in the conservation of this endangered species and takes the responsibility seriously, with strict penalties for harming turtles or their eggs. The area is under government protection and the only way to visit the site is by joining an escorted tour. Turtle nesting tours at Ras Al Jinz allow visitors to witness the spectacle in an intimate fashion without fear of interrupting the creatures themselves. The turtle sanctuary at Ras Al Jinz combines an interactive museum with research laboratories and a wide range of amenities for visitors to learn all about the wonders of these ancient creatures in a family-friendly environment. 2) Ra’s ar Ru’ays (12 Minutes by car) Where the arid expanse of the desert meets the sea you can witness an epic struggle of two different worlds. Both are fighting to stop the other encroaching on their space. It’s a battle that has been raging for thousands of years and will continue for many more. Standing on the cliff at Ra’s ar Ru’ays, I took a moment to take in the sight of natural forces at work. There are not many places in Oman where sand meets the waves in such dramatic fashion, so this is quite unique. Ra’s ar Ru’ays is the nearest main town in the area to Al-Daffah where you can find groceries, restaurants, petrol station, and ATM’s. It also has a beautiful park at the beach that is suitable for families and friend’s gatherings. 3) Pink Lakes The Jalan coast extends for a length of 180 km, and the pink lake is one of the most famous tourist spots there. It is one of the rare lakes in the Sultanate. It is located on the coast of Al Suwih village. These lakes are a destination for tourists who travel because it is close to the main road that connects Ras Al Hadd and Al Ashkharah. The lakes are also a resting place for many migratory birds such as pink flamingos, and many other birds. 4) Ras Al Hadd (23 Minutes by car) One of these beauteous places is Ras Al Hadd, a peaceful beach nearby Sur, which is a two-and-a half hour drive from Muscat, there you can camp, play water sports, and watch turtles, too. Nothing brings warmth and excitement to heart more than spending some quality time by the beach, soaking in the sun, and taking in euphoric smell of the ocean, and listening to the music that crashing waves make. Being a resident of this coastal land, I can proudly say that we have some most beautiful sea spreads in the gulf and a huge range of variety, from enclaves to fishing villages. 5) Sur (50 Minutes by car) With an attractive corniche, two forts, excellent beaches nearby and a long history of dhow-building, there is much to commend Sur to the visitor. In addition to its attractions, Sur is a convenient base for day trips to Wadi Tiwi and Wadi Shab and the turtle reserve at Ras Al Jinz. It also makes a good halfway rest point on a round trip from Muscat via the desert camps of the Sharqiya Sands.

Great experience!
It was a great experience both for adults and kids.. The weather was unexpectedly great.. Recommended for relaxation as well as exploring Oman..

Ultimate Experience!
1. Expect BEAUTIFUL weather, unique to the area 2. Expect BEAUTIFUL views of the sea on one side and the desert/ mountains on the other side. 3. Expect EXCELLENT hospitality from the host and his family, who took care of us in every way possible (provided local tips, provided fully loaded SIM card for internet access and did not charge us for this, even called the phone company when we ran out of GB, to renew the GB for us) Definitely we hope to be back many times to this wonderful gem we found.
