Great location, 5 minute walk to beautiful Lake Huron, parks, Marina and downtown. Home is nestled in a charming community, friendly neighborhood with sidewalks for safe walking to the lake and parks. Home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything you might need. Easy drive up and down M23 to many parks, lighthouses and historical destinations. Homeowner was accommodating and provided helpful info. Perfect short getaway and would definitely stay again when visiting Alpena area.

House was very lovely and inviting. I found I was pleasantly surprised by some of the amenities that were included that I had not expected (coffee/hot cocoa, paper plates/condiments etc.). The home is 2 minutes from Lake Huron and close to so many local restaurants/grocery stores (Meijer and Walmart). There is a large playground/splash pad right by the water which is great for kids. The only downside was not having a washer/dryer available which was a tad difficult with going to the beach multiple times with no way to easily wash/dry the beachwear. All in all the home was great and worked perfectly for our family!

This property is the perfect location for everything Alpena has to offer! This was our first time staying at a vacation rental and it was amazing. We are used to either overpaying for a cramped hotel room or trying to stay with family. It was so nice to have our own space on this trip that was our "home base" we could return to at our leisure. The house itself is perfectly updated and looks exactly like the listing photos. All of the amenities were new and worked well. I was surprised at how quickly the water heated up in the bathrooms! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay that is close to all Alpena has to offer.

The home is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, parking was easy, and the neighborhood was quiet and well-located (a quick walk to Lake Huron, and just a bit further--but still easy--walk to downtown Alpena). I was in Alpena to visit family, but needed solid internet access for video calls (work) while I was in town. Jennie was SUPER at providing me extensive details prior to my booking, including helpful photos and technical information. She was highly responsive before and during the booking, and extemely patient with my many advance questions! I would highly recommend this property, or anything else she manages in Alpena! (and yes, the internet was great!)

We had a great first impression of the house when we opened the door - everything looked great and was very clean. It had everything we were looking for with our short stay in Alpena. And the property manager was very responsive. We were not able to find a corkscrew, and mentioned to the property manager. She brought one over to us just a few minutes later. I would definitely recommend this property.
