Nice property. Loved being on the lake. Enjoyed Alpena shops and restaurants

Large home with lake frontage and dock. Kids had fun swimming and fishing. Weather wasn’t the greatest but nothing you can do about that. A lot of work for only four days, recommend a weeks stay if available. Host was kind and prompt to answer texts. There were no problems.

We visited long lake with my husbands family. We had 4 children 5 and under. It was absolutely perfect for them. The water was nice and shallow, and they loved the little slide. The property was clean and comfortable. It did get a little hot one of the nights we were there, but Annetta came installed AC in the kids room. We were very thankful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We came up north with our daughters and their husbands and another couple friend of ours and our greyhounds. It was large enough to handle us all and really nice. The owners responded very quickly to our needs and was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. We rented a pontoon for the week and enjoyed that even though we had weird weather our last two days- like 40 mile per hour winds and very rough waters. The marina people were nice enough to come drive the boat back to their place since the lake was certainly a challenge. All and all, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

I would love to come back in the summer. It is right on the water and downtown Alpena seems like it has cute shops in the summer. Just be prepared to bring every spice, oil, and leftover containers yoi need. We stayed on one coldest weekends to attend a fishing tournament. The kitchen and living area was always freezings. While the bedrooms got so hot, we were sweating. The host was amazing though. Quick to respond and very kind.

The property is perfect for families to have fun. The communication with the owner was excellent. We enjoyed seeing the stars shining bright and smores around fire pit. The communication with the owner was excellent. There was a issue with the heat and the owner showed up 10min after I emailed her with a repairman. Rockport State Recreation Park is 15mins from the house. My family found some fossils at the park which was pretty cool.

Enjoyed my week vacation instantly as I arrived in the driveway until the final day of check out. The sunshine had just set when we arrived, and the sky was absolutely beautiful throughout our stay. My family of seven adults, one child and two pets loved it just as much! The outside if the home is clean and well taken care of. The next door neighbors on both saids were incredibly friendly and welcoming. In the inside, everything was clean and welcoming. The home is open and has a giant counter top for gathering. Especially loved the windows in the back to gaze at Long Lake. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms so a group is comfortable. The outdoors and the backyard was the best part to sit and enjoy nature. It was very nice having an upper and lower patio. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and lived having the dock available at the beach. It was super fun walking way out in the shallow lake! Highly recommend for a wonderful vacation on the lake!
