Great beach, a nice walk

Excellent experience, dog friendly, quiet, clean and right on the beach! The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated. The common area was perfect for family interaction. Small bedrooms, but just enough space to keep our family of four happy. We especially enjoyed the beach fires, kayaks and paddle boards. Can’t wait to go back. If our kids were little this would have also been perfect, as the water is shallow and the sand toys looked like fun.

This property has the most beautiful beach front! A real beach vacation. The kitchen is remodeled nicely and so is the bathroom. Really great stand up paddle boards and kayaks to borrow. Kids and adults loved it!

This was our third time staying at Tequila Sunrise. We were very impressed with the updates made to the kitchen and bathroom. Tequila Sunrise provides the setting for a perfect family get away. Right out the front door is a beautiful sand beach and the shallow sandy waters of Lake Huron. Great spot for the little ones!

This was a amazing rental in a great location to kick back relax and enjoy the sun, sand and water.

We had a great time. Right on the water which is what we are always looking for . The cottage was clean and well stocked and the owners responded quickly to any questions we had . I would recommend this vacation spot to family and friends

We loved our time at this cottage. My friends and I only spent one day here but it was an amazing get away for us. Being right on the beach and being able to swim and kayak was awesome! The pictures don't do this place justice, the cabin is a lot bigger than it looks. The inside is very clean and feels very modern and cared for. My dogs also greatly enjoyed their time here as well. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking to get away from society and just enjoy the lake life.

The crystal clear waters of Lake Huron with its rippled sandy bottom makes for great water activities such as walking the beach, swimming and using the included kayaks and paddle boards. The cozy clean cottage met the needs of our family of three and one dog. We also enjoyed the firepit in the evening and the quietness of the bay. There's places to explore in Alpena and the surrounding area. You'll drive about 9 miles on dirt roads to reach the cottage. We saw deer everyday in this stretch. We highly recommend Tequila Sunrise.

Tequila sunrise, was picture perfect, our family adored this cottage, the views, and the beach. Amazing place to stay.
