Our family, including teenagers, 15-18, stayed for five nights while in the area for the National Trap Shooting Tournament in Mason. We all loved the home. I agree with other reviews that a professional cleaner is needed for a deep cleaning, the cleaners they are using do not do a good job. However, I would stay here again. The house is beautiful and the property is amazing. We used the shooting range, even when it rained, as it is covered and there is plenty of room. The kids had a blast in the lake. There are paddle boards and a paddle boat and a canoe provided and the lake connects to other lakes, so we spent time exploring in the canoe. We really appreciate that dogs are allowed, just make sure to check for ticks. Peaceful and secluded but not too far from the grocery store. The only suggestion I have is for better cleaners and for there to be cleaning supplies available, for example a working vacuum and mop.

Beautiful property with a lot to offer!

Prior to arriving, I didn’t get the email or text code for the door and reached out to mike who immediately answered and got us the code so we were able to get in. There were some minor cleanliness issues which again I reached out to mike about and he resolved and reached out to his cleaning crew about. The house itself is very nice with lots of room for sleeping. We really appreciated the many pillows and blankets extra as the weather ended up being quite cold for the time of year and we cuddled up with blankets throughout the day. Definitely would recommend staying there again

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our Albion graduate in a wonderful house. The great room with enormous ceiling was the perfect place for all of our family to get together. A much better alternative to having several hotel rooms. We were able to connect to the blue tooth speakers which was a very nice touch. The road into the house was a little rough because of rain earlier but we made it and when they say "ladybugs" they mean "ladybugs". Quite a few in the house but probably just this time of the year. We had a great stay! There was even a huge bag of ice in the freezer! Thank you.

Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures and description. Great place to stay. Had a lot of fun on the shooting range and enjoying the great outdoors!

My niece was getting married on April 16th in Jackson/Rives Junction. I was looking for a rental for myself and the adult cousins that would be less formal than a hotel and not horrible commute. This home and location were perfect. The weather didn’t completely cooperate for us to enjoy more outdoor time but there were zero complaints from anyone of the accommodations and the drive back and forth for the family gatherings was very easy. Mike was great to communicate with. We’d definitely love to return during warmer season to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities.

We had a lovely, quick, stay at Mike's Michigan place. Despite the cold weather, we were able to enjoy his spanning property with much beauty to explore! Albeit cold, we even took a paddle boat and kayak out for a ride around the lakes. We would love to come back again in nicer weather to enjoy more of the amenities this house has to offer. Perhaps the variable weather played a role, but we were pestered by some bugs throughout our time, thus attention to that will be most beneficial for future guests. We hope to return in the future, as this was a great in-between spot for us (Chicagoland) and our extended Family (Cleveland)!

The house was nice and private with great views out of all the windows. Heating was a little temperamental because the thermostat is in the main bedroom so if the door is shut, the rest of the house is off but we didn't have any issues. Really enjoyed all of the nice trails throughout the property to explore in the snow, would definitely recommend and come back!

We had a great stay. We wanted a place we could un-winf for a few days and this is definitely the place for that. Host is very attentive and answers questions promptly. I would recommend staying here. We will for sure.
