About the neighbourhood
Nearby my house you can find several restorants ( even Chinese), bakery and food -store.Taking a side walk of 10 min. you can reach the beautiful area so called 'Verudella' : pebble and rocky beaches, paths in the pine wood trees close to the sea, different sport facilities ( tennis courts, beach- volleyl, mini foot-ball), coffee-bars, shops, fun-fair for children and Casino.
To see the sights of the city the best to do is to take the bus to the centre and then making a walk up to the hill where is a Venetian Fortress from which you can have a complete view of the city. Then you can visit the Roman Anphitheater, the Diana's Temple, the Sergie's Arch and other ancient ruins. Don't forget to watch ( starting at 10 p.m.) the world's famous illuminating giant cranes in the harbour's shipyard which change the colours every 3 min. making a fantastic rainbow in the night.
