We are located very conveniently off the Malindi Road within Planet shopping mall, next to the largest malls on the North Coast (Nakumatt Nyali, Naivas Nyali Centre), walking distance to the beach and a 5-10 minute drive to larger resorts at both Nyali and Bamburi beaches. We benefit from having a number of quality international cuisine restaurants (Misono, La Veranda, Sheba, Eataly), bars (La Costa, Bob's, Lounge, Tapas) and retail outlets, as well as outdoor activities for all ages (Wild Waters, Haller Park / Nature Trail) within a short walk or taxi ride, and being very centrally located for easy access to transport facilities.
Please also enquire for any other services such as international and domestic air ticketing, taxi transfers, car hire, tours and safaris or water sports which we can arrange at very competitive prices. We have a lot of experience in the tourism trade and will be happy to advise and assist in any way we can to make your holiday an unforgettable experience.
Slept for one day the place is well located well furnished apartment but still room for improvement slot can be done to make this place more lovely😂

The location is very good in a safe area and just next door to the largest shopping mall of Mombasa. The security guards are very friendly and always helpful.The apartments are very worn down. There is no generator for backup and electricity black outs are often. The air condioning is poor and when there is a blackout one completely feels like in a sauna - I experienced this during my stay quite often: In daytime it was almost impossible to stay in the appartment and at night it was hardly possible to sleep.Also there is no sound isolation. You hear every noise from neighbouring apartments.

Thank you for your review and we are surprised to hear of your disappointing stay as you had not mentioned any issues while you stayed with us for over 6 weeks. We have taken your comments on board and are pleased to advise that we have taken steps to make stays for future guests more comfortable.
The apartments have been recently refurbished with bathrooms and kitchens re-tiled and repainted, so we are not sure what you mean when you say they are very worn down. The apartment building is one of the first in the popular New Nyali area but we have endeavoured to maintain a good standard of fixtures and fittings.
During your stay, there were frequent blackouts and this problem was resolved by the power company a few months ago and we are happy for uninterrupted power currently. We have also changed the air conditioning units in all apartments this year and installed more powerful units to cool the large apartments adequately.
With regards to sound, the apartments are all separated by thick walls and we do have sound insulation on the balcony side windows. There was previously more noise due to many new bars in the vicinity, but this issue has been tackled by the council authorities and there are no longer establishments playing loud music in the area for the past few months.

Convenient and economic apartment
It is extremely spacious and convenient and secure location but needs some renovation. Also the kitchen items supplied were rather bare.

Secure, Convenient & Lovely
The Planet apartments are the best place to stay if you are looking for somewhere safe, close to shopping malls and easy to access . The owners and staff are friendly and offer the best customer service. I recommend this place for anyone looking for convenient accommodation in North Coast

Awesome!
Really enjoyed our stay at the Planet Apartments. Stayed here over new years 2014/15 and loved it. Personalized welcome where the Owner is very friendly and is happy to cater to your needs thou I didn't have any apart from asking for the WiFi password!
Actually the place has everything, self contained apartments, with free wi-fi with good reception and great speeds. Fridge in the apartment great for your six packs and Ribs. The apartment itself is Massive with the bedroom upstairs. Great if you have a family or Kids, I believe there are larger apartments with more bedrooms within but we stayed in a one bedroom one.
The apartments are very Centrally located in Nyali with easy access to various night spots (Bob's, The Lounge, etc) and if you need to cook indoors, Nakumatt Nyali is walking distance (5 Minutes), and you have plenty of Cutlery in the apartments.
Staff are very friendly and courteous. No unnecessary knocks on the door to change sheets etc ;-) Cable TV is also available, and rooms have Air Con. The place is also very clean.
Indoor security is perfect with 24 hours security guards and a Tom Cat Mouser :-) Nyali itself is generally a very safe area from my experience. Walking at night is also OK, thou there are plenty of taxi's in the vicinity.
Lastly, if staying at Nyali, it has easy access to all places, 20 minutes to Msa town, Mtwapa is also just up the Road, etc etc Easier to discover if you have a car, and Planet have plenty of gated parking space with good security.
In short, if you find yourself in Nyali, really, you won't be disappointed with the Planet Apartments!

Great holiday!
Great atmosphere with adequate security and well furnished. The kitchenette was equally well provided for with cutlery. Cleaning was well done daily. No noise pollution. Bravo!

Very good and Puneesh did every to make my stay very enjoyable
The Apartment is very central, close to beach, shops and restaurants. I found all the staff very pleasant and helpful and my stay there was wonderful and relaxing. I would recommend Mombasa and the Planet Apartments for a holiday

Impressive service and spacious apartments - 5 star location!
I usually dont write reviews online.... But this experience made me do it:
A very good location to stay. Everything was as described, clean, spacious, safe.
The owners/admins were helpful and fulfilled every wish, the employees also, very friendly and helpful. We felt really well and safe there. The location offers everything u need. Shopping centers, chemists, bars, leisure activities, beach, clubs, simply everything is close. I´m already looking forward to my next stay there, wouldnt go anywhere else. :)
See you soon again!
