El Hatillo is a small community nestled in the the mountain range that leads to La Tigra National Rain Forest. There is a small convenience store about half a mile away that is fairly well stocked, and is considered a meeting point with all the local residents. There is a Catholic church a short five minute walk from the estate and a Cristian church about a two mile drive heading back into the city. We are surrounded by pine trees all around and are at the edge of the La Tigra National Rain Forest conservation area so you are guaranteed fresh mountain air. There are also some nice hiking and mountain bike trails close by if interested in outdoor activities. More information can be provided upon request.
