Located in the heart of Washington, DC, Suite DC is a charming and cozy one bedroom apartment in the DC neighborhood.-of Eckington-NoMa. A beautiful English basement apartment in a Victorian row house. There is a private entrance which allows guests to enjoy the entire apartment to themselves. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics for cooking - pots and pans, spices, etc., and coffee is provided for the coffee maker. There's an iron and ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, soap, 1 set of towels, super-soft sheets, along with cable TV and wifi. All the comforts of home.

There is a lock box on the front gate, the key is inside so that guests can let We live upstairs in the (separate) main house. We may or may not be around while you are here but we're always available by phone or text to help you with anything you need. We try to keep the noise to a minimum, however, there are children so you may occasionally hear some noise from upstairs and/or the street.

About the neighbourhood
Eckington is a residential neighborhood with a Harris Teeter and Trader Joe's grocery stores, several coffee shops, CVS and various restaurants all within walking distance from our house. Want to work out? There’s both a cycle and yoga studio close by as well as a bike trail (MBT path). We are one metro stop away from Union Station (Amtrak/Greyhound/and Megabus).
Walk to the corner of our block and you can see the US Capitol. We are minutes away via bike and bus from numerous Capitol landmarks. There are several bike share stations in close proximity to our house, within 20 min you can be almost anywhere in DC, including sights such as the Smithsonian Museums, Capitol, Washington Monument and White House. At the corner of our block you can catch a DC Metro bus that will drop you off: 1) approximately 5 blocks for the Capitol Building, 2) downtown at Gallery Place; and 3) at Metro Center (3 blocks from the White House). Walk to the NoMa/Gallaudet metro (Red Line).
How to get there
If you are arriving by car, there is on street parking. Let me know you are driving and I will give you specific information about on street parking.
If you are arriving by bus/train and get in at Union Station, you can either walk, take metro one stop to NoMa, or ride share/cab it.
If you are flying in, if you haven't booked your ticket yet, pick National Airport (DCA) if prices allow. Great and easy airport that is directly connected to the metro system.
If you're coming into Baltimore-Washington Int'l Airport (BWI), you can either take a cab/ride share/airport shuttle or you can take Amtrak to Union Station, than either metro or cab/ride share to the house.
From Dulles Airport (IAD) there is a bus that will take you to the Metro Station: Wiehle-Reston Metro station transfer at Gallery Place (Red Line Metro station) and get off at NoMa metro station or you can take cab/ride share/airport shuttle.
