Too much noise from barking dogs all night
Spent a weekend in this property and had no sleep at all. The reason for this was dogs barking loudly all night long. It sounded like a pack of them. Tried sleeping in both bedrooms and it made no difference. We went home exhausted and tired and glad we had not booked a week there. Very concerned as to why dogs were barking so loudly and excessively all through the night. This is not natural.
Also beds and lounge furniture very uncomfortable. Cushions slipped off the chairs and settee and just not pleasant to seat on. The single beds were very low. Mattresses all very soft and uncomfortable. Saucepans not fit for use as had peeling non stock coating that came off in the food when used.
The property is in a beautiful location though but be careful of internal steps despite being advertised as all on one level.
Otherwise all ok.

The property was exactly as shown on the website. Very pleasant and well thought throughout. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen abundantly stocked. The shower, although a little on the small side, was one of the best we've used! Very secluded even though we were on a farm. Tucked away with lovely views over the lake watching the wildlife. Would definitely recommend as a peaceful getaway to friends and relatives.
