Interaction with guests
You will be met on arrival and given the keys tot he house, and shown around. The lady who looks after the house is called Katerina and is helpful and pleasant. Her son Marek is studying at University and speaks good English but Katerina understands much of what you say to her in English .There are some simple groceries which can be used as you wish but we ask guests to replace store groceries for the next person's convenience. Katerina lives a few doors away and she will give you her phone number as you wish. There are stair gates supplied when with very small children. The safety of the children is the full responsibility of the guests. We would love to get feedback after your visit , as this is hugely helpful .

Thank you so much for your generous feedback. Yes, the house is very spacious, that is one of the many things we really like about it. Even when there is a house full, everyone still has ample room. We look forward to seeing you again....More

About the neighbourhood
Local places of interest are the well known ancient Spis Castle a short drive away, the music festival in autumn;Babie Leto;, and for hikers and nature lovers the wonderful bear watching conservation trips For lovers of hot pools and swimming, the nearby Aquacity provides many natural thermal pools to relax in and enjoy. The major ski fields of eastern Europe are very economical compared to those in Western Europe and is ideal for skiers and snowboarders who want to escape the rat race of France, Switzerland etc. Slovakia still represents amazing value: you can ski for a fraction of the cost of the resorts of France, Switzerland etc. The history of the area is fascinating and museums well worth visiting.Levoca is featured in Lonely Planet guides and reported widely on the internet. Getting around
Walking around the city walls and into he town is easy but a car is most convenient to explore the countryside and nearby beauty spots. There is a mainline train in nearby Poprad going to Bratislava and connects to Spisska Nova Ves, then to Kosice, and the coach station is a short walk away, but most guests hire a car from the airport .. This can be arranged beforehand if you give details of your flight and preference of car type.
