Recently restored, the apartment offers a wonderful contrast between the modern style of the decor and furnishings with the old grand style of the apartment building and surrounding area. Split over two levels, giving the apartment a uniquely special atmosphere with beautiful arched ceilings, downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with dining space for two, spacious bathroom fitted with a walk in shower and washing machine for our guests convenience. The living room, compact and cosy offers great comfort and relaxation after a long day sight seeing and equipped with cable TV and DVD player. On the upper floor is the bedroom with genuinely romantic atmosphere, with king size bed and ample wardrobe space, leading off from the mezzanine reading level with writing desk ideal for those who wish to write a few postcards home or keep up with work back home. A charming cosy apartment offering a stunning location with amazing character. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: 76379651-1-41More

About the neighbourhood
In the area surrounding Szabadsag square, you will find the Parliament, the Basilica of St. Stephen, with many of the roads now pedestrianised with the streets filled with antique and boutique shops as well as cafes and restaurants. A central zone yet, with a relaxed atmosphere where you can easily access all parts of the city, either on foot within 10-15 minutes or by metro, tram and bus.
Getting around
Public transport, though excellent is not needed in most cases. The city is so historic with so many things to see on the way and the major sights and attractions never more than a 10-15 minute walk and in many cases even less than that. The apartment is pleasantly located close to various major transport hubs. a two minute walk and you can arrive to the Opera house, where you can collect the famous M1 metro line - the oldest continental metro line. Or at Oktogon, 5 minutes walk, where can join the M1 again or the 4 and 6 tram routes. If you need the M2 or M3 metro line, those too is a short walk to Deak Ferenc Ter.
