Welcome to our apartment in the heart of the city !
The apartment is situated in a well known, touristical section of the city center (5th district) at the Váci utca and Vörösmarty square.
Our apartment is a 30 m2 one-room studio for up to 2 persons in the middle of downtown, close to the Danube. This beautiful, fully equipped apartment is located in the heart of the city, 50 metres far from the no.1 shopping street of Budapest. (Váci Street)
Parking possibility in the underground garage of the building.

Located on the 4th floor of a very elegant house (elevator). From the balcony you can see the Váci street. Although it is in the city center, it is still a very quiet street.
The whole flat is completely renewed...

Excellent,studio apartment,brilliant position easy access to all sites
Very nice apartment,,great situation, 3minute walk to river and boat trips. And hop on off city bus stop. Restaurants,bars,shops all within 1 minute walk.. Eva was there to welcome me on arrival,very nice batch of cheese scones!. Lovely little balcony to sit out on. Would happily stay there again.

Great location, friendly host, very small apartment
This apartment is in a great location, very friendly host who left us treats. What we did not expect was that, even though it sleeps 3, it is a studio apartment, not 1 bedroom (as advertised on airbnb). The bed and little couch are also the living room. Otherwise it was clean and well kept and in a great location.

The apartment is indeed a studio apartment, which is clearly stated in the description field on airbnb( "Our apartment is a 30 m2 one-room studio for up to 4 persons (3 adults or 2 adults+ 2 children) in the middle of downtown, close to the Danube", and can also be seen on the pictures we uploaded to the site. We are very sorry that it was unexpected, it has never occured before. We hope that despite the above you left with good memories, and that we can host you again in the future.

Excelente apartamento
O pequeno apartamento é muito acolhedor e conta com todos os pertences necessários a uma curta temporada. A localização é perfeita, a poucos metros da principal praça de Budapeste. Sua proprietária, a Sra. Eva, nos recebeu prontamente e com uma gentileza excepcional. Eu e minha esposa adoramos o apartamento e recomendamos, sem receio, a quem quiser alugá-lo.

Perfect apartment for a visit to Budapest, lovely owner
We stayed at Frida apartment for 4 nights on a 6 week honeymoon trip to Europe. It is a great location for first time visitors to Budapest and the owner Eva was an absolute delight. She met us at the apartment when we arrived to settle us in and I'd mentioned it was our honeymoon so she had put a bottle of sparkling in the fridge and put up a beautiful handmade wedding decoration in the apartment. Very special! Eva and Pete were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations and any other queries we had. We loved Budapest, thank you Eva & Pete.

Perfect apartment for a stay in Budapest - central location, nice neighborhood, cute, clean & well equipped apartment!
Couldn't fault this apartment - was everything we were looking for (clean, central location, good value, secure and well equipped) in addition, Eva was lovely.

Lovely place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay of three nights at the Frida apartment. It was very comfortable, had good amenities and very well located. Eva was very welcoming and offered excellent advice on local places to see and eat and convenient shops to buy food for breakfast.
We had a great time and whole-heartedly recommend this lovely apartment in a very enjoyable city. Tony & Jude

Perfect home base for exploring Budapest
My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Frida apartment. Had no issues with booking/payment as Eva was very responsive and answered all my questions. Also had no problem with arrival. We came via train from Vienna and were able to get from the Keleti station via Metro to the Deak stop and then followed Eva's walking directions without issue. Was only a 5 minute walk on pedestrain-only streets so the walking wasn't a problem, even with all our luggage. Eva's husband Peter met us on schedule and showed us all around. When there was a minor language barrier and I was asking a question he couldn't understand he even phoned his daughter to translate for us. The apartment itself is perfectly located right off Vaci square (note that on Friday night there was some street noise along with some traffic noise fairly early the next morning, but it wasn't that bad unless you are a very light sleeper) and only a short 3-5 minute walk to the river. Everything, including the bed was very comfortable and we loved having the little patio to sit out at in the mornings or for an afternoon/evening break. There were a lot of other little touches that we appreciated and hadn't found at other apartment rentals like magazines/maps and tourist brochures and provided coffee/tea. Also, wifi worked great. For the accomodating hosts/perfect location/comfort and very reasonable price, I'd highly recommend the Frida Apartment. Our only regret was not staying longer to enjoy more of this amazing city!

Perfect stay in Budapest
I stayed at Frida apartment for two nights with my two friends, and we enjoyed every minutes of our stay there. The owner of the apartment (Eva and her husband) were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is located at the center of the city of Pest side, and close from every "must-see" spots in Budapest. Very clean and comfortable for 2-4 people. I strongly recommend Frida partment who plan to visit Budapest, and will definitely stay there again if I revisit Budapest.

We are a family of 4 with 2 young children aged 2 and 8 years old and we stayed here for 5 nights. This apartment is well located in Budapest and is within easy walking distance to most sights. It is situated on the 4th floor and there is a lift that stops on that floor. The apartment has free wifi and everything one might need to cook simple meals. The apartment is small in size but adequate for a temporary visit. The apartment was cleaned once during our 5 day stay which was good. Eva and her husband met us when we arrived at 10am and were very helpful. We would stay there again.

About the neighbourhood
Váci Street is the pulsating, busy centre of Pest. This is The City where banks and expensive shops stand next to one another, squeezed into the narrow plots. There are few particularly old buildings, but there are many worthy of attention.
With the joining of two streets in the 18th century today's elegant pedestrian street was born. The majority of the buildings were built in the late 19th, early 20th century. The relatively young age of the buildings affects neither their value nor their attractiveness, and the beautiful facades and finely decorated staircases lure the eye away from the tempting shop windows.
Many new shops, hotels, banks, money exchanging places and passages have been built recently between the old buildings. Frida apartment is located in the Belváros-Lipótváros neighborhood, this is the heart of old Budapest. The pedestrian area is famous for the quality of its shops and services, and this quality is sought after by Hungarians and foreigners alike.
Deák Square, Budapest’s main transport hub, is also an integral part of this area of Budapest. The city centre can be reached by public transport and by car: around Váci Street there are more than 2,500 parking spaces for visitors arriving by car.
Almost 100,000 people daily pass through the city’s most vibrant and most beautiful promenade: Váci Street.

Aranykéz Street is easily accessible by 3 different major metro lines (M1, M2, M3) including the continent's oldest underground as well as some of the major tram and bus lines. VACI1 is within a few minutes walk from most of the 5 star hotels and tourist attractions such as the spectacular Chain Bridge. 5 nearby parking facilities provide excellent accessibility by car.
