Lot of pubs all around and the biggest (5 floor) music club (Karlovy Lazne) in Central Europe just across the Charles Bridge.
Jan was a superlative host: responsive, friendly, informative, going above and beyond. He is the best host we have encountered . . . even picking us up from the airport. The apartment had complementary amenities like an all-inclusive resort: some wine and beer, chocolates, guide books, shampoos, soaps, etc. Honestly, it was amazing. As we were traveling with our daughter, it was lovely to have two bathrooms, yes, TWO! And the washer/dryer was great to have since this was our last stop on a multi-country vacation.
But above all, the view from this apartment was fantastic! We were right off of Charles Bridge with a clear view of the castle. We also had a special treat with the plaza being decorated for Easter. There were vendors for beer, sausage, trdelnik, and gifts. There was even a petting zoo and blacksmith. In general, Prague really turns out for Easter. Highly recommend it.
In all, our vacation would not have been as special if we had not stayed here. While I was late writing this review, I have recommended it several times to University of Miami parents who plan to visit their kids during their study abroad time.

Perfect appartement in Praag
verbleven meerdere dag in appartement 'Charles Bridge'. Onze perfecte gastheer Jan heeft ons opgehaald op de luchthaven, dat is pas echt luxe. Appartement ligt letterlijk vlak bij de Karelsbrug. Hierdoor liggen alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Het appartement ligt in de wijk Kampa, hierdoor rust in avond en nacht.
Appartement geschikt voor 4 personen, optimaal is 2 personen. Het luxe appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Bij aankomt een gevulde koelkast met lekkere drankjes, de koffie staat klaar.
Praag is zoals bekend een erg mooie stad, echter helaas wordt de stad overlopen door hordes toeristen en jammer genoeg ook vele vriendengroepen die al rond het middaguur afgevuld zijn met bier.
Het advies is dan ook om de bezienswaardigheden vroeg op de ochtend te bezoeken, dit geldt vooral voor de Praagse Burcht.
Een goed alternatief is om Praag te verkennen met de fiets of ebike.

The perfect Prague home away from home!
A comfortable beautifully appointed apartment with everything you could want- and more. The advertised “view of Charles Bridge” was 100% accurate. It is within walking distance of all the major built treasures of Prague and yet is amazingly quiet. The owners son Jan was charming and helpful but unobtrusive and I rate him at 100% too. It could be helpful to some to know that there are 40 not steep steps as it is on the second floor of a 400 year old building and there is no lift. But what a delight in every other respect!

This was the best ever - location, view, air, openness of apartment, up-to-date (newly renovated).
Jan, who runs the apartment owned by his parents, is extremely attentive before and during the occupancy. Apartment is at the foot of the famous pedestrian Charles Bridge, has open-wide windows on two sides which make you feel you are in the midst of the city's life! It's like a people-watching excursion. Breathtaking views of several of Prague's primary attractions, walking distance of virtually everything (4 restaurants within a block). Fully renovated, very modern, including baths - a/c!

Rona review: Exciting and excellent location at one end of Charles bridge on the Prague Castle side of the river. Very well appointed, clean, quiet and within 10 minutes walk of the old and new parts of the city. Within 5-10 minutes of EXCELLENT restaurants and park walks along the river. John Lennon wall and pub 3 minutes walk from unit. Prague Castle 20-25 minutes walk (for seniors). Did a Hop on-off bus tour to get a sense of our location and this proved helpful. Beautiful unit and location made our 4 day stay a memorable experience.

Best Place to Stay in Prague
The Location is Incredible - steps from the Prague Bridge and Castle, steps from great restaurants.
The place itself had everything you could ask for and more of a condo/apt.
Jan provided 5 Star Service - he picked us up at the Airport which was greatly appreciated after both parties had been travelling for 15+ hours.

A most excellent Appartment and host
This apartment is beautiful, spacious, high-end and very clean. Jan has made this a home from home. He is a genuinely nice guy who goes above and beyond to try and ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The Appartment for my family could not have been better placed. If you like people watching then stay here, as Charles Bridge is virtually on your door step. The area surrounding the apartment has a park, great art and plenty of fantastic restaurants. My family give Jan, the Appartment and Prague 10/10.

Truely a Great Vacation Home to Stay in Prague's Prime Location
This is a well-maintained residential building with hundreds of years of history. The apartment has been recently renovated with the state-of-the-art facilities. The host prepares everything for his guests including the amenities of varieties of coffee, tea, wine and soft drinks. We were so impressed to find dental floss at the bathrooms. The location couldn’t be better. Located at the Kampa Island right by the Charles Bridget, the apartment is right in the middle of all the major attractions in Prague. My family had excellent travel experience staying at Jan’s home this time. Truly a great vacation home I would recommend to other travelers.

Great apartment
You can not go wrong with this apartment! This apartment was completely re-done less than 5 years ago. The owners did it right because this is also their vacation home. It has everything you need . . . ac, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, great coffee/cappuccino machine, 2 full bathrooms, etc. The also have tea and coffee and some snacks and a couple of beers and wine and water and cokes. These little things are very nice and appreciated when you are tired from traveling and just want to relax. Also, Jan provided transport for us to and from the train station. I am not sure if he can do that every time they rent or if he was just available for our stay, but we very much appreciated that. We have never had that before in all the rentals we have done. Jan was very easy to communicate with prior to the stay and during. And then the LOCATION!!! The views are obviously amazing, but even nicer is the central location. It was so easy to spend the morning at the castle and then stop by the apartment for a drink and then go to Old Town. Or go to the Jewish Quarter and then stop home and then back out. This was an amazing place and we would stay again in a heartbeat.
