We have been coming to GH for years and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yellow House. Dominic and Joy were a pleasure to deal with and their knowledge and responsiveness were much appreciated. The house is clean, well furnished and well decorated. The electricity, satellite and wifi, which can be tricky in some houses were the best we have had in the Bahamas. The location is ideal and we would highly recommend staying at Yellow House. Thanks again for everything Dominic and Joy.

The Yellow House is an excellent property centrally located in Governors Harbour near restaurants, shops, grocers, coffee shops, and beaches and is less than a one hour drive to the most distant island attractions. The house accommodated our family of 6 very well and included many small amenities that made our stay more enjoyable. Property Managers (Joy and Dominic) were great to work with and very accommodating.

The Yellow House is an amazing property, managed EXTREMELY well by Joy and Dominic and their team. It is spacious, luxurious, and has so many conveniences that made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. I would give this place (the Yellow House, Governor's Harbour, and Eleuthra Island) six stars (out of five) if I could.

The Yellow House was the perfect "home base" for a family of 5...well-stocked kitchen, nice pool, washer/dryer, spacious bathrooms, and clean and comfortable beds. The golf cart was also a nice way to get to the beach. The nearby beach is a hidden gem - one of the best on the island in terms of beauty and relaxation. We also worked remotely and had no issues with Wi-Fi. Joy and Dom were extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall a wonderful experience that we will never forget!

Had a fantastic stay at Yellow House. Dom and Joy were great hosts, checked us in quickly and showed us the ropes and were always around if we needed anything. The house was even more beautiful and spacious than in the pictures, and the location is perfect. Governor's Harbour is a great base on Eleuthera - about halfway down the island - and is close to restaurants and gas and groceries. We loved all the beaches we went to but French Leave - right down the road on the golf cart - was our favorite. The house came with umbrellas, chairs, coolers - everything we needed for a great beach week. Fully stocked kitchen, good wifi, great AC - really the perfect place to relax with friends for the week. The pool is great too! Can't say enough good things about Joy and Dom and the house, and about Eleuthera in general - warm people, gorgeous and empty beaches - the perfect house for the perfect vacation. Can't wait to return someday soon!

Family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Best town with the best beach! Golf cart for the beach and over to the Marriott was terrific. Stylish and comfy. Outdoor entertaining space in the evenings with the string lights made for nice ambiance. Generator came in very handy. Property managers Joy and Dom are lovely and responsive

We had an amazing time and Joy was a extremely helpful from beginning to end. The house is beautiful and in the perfect location. We can’t wait to come back!

Reviewer Comments: I've visited Eleuthera many times over the last 13 years and never stayed at one of the Coleman's properties and boy I will never make that mistake again. Everything about the experience was fabulous. The design of the house is very comfortable for a large group and well stocked with everything you need for a great week at the beach. The kitchen is well equipped, there are lots of extra bath and beach towels, plenty of beach chairs, and even coolers to take with you to the beach. The bathrooms also have shampoo, soap, and hair dryers so no need to pack any of that. The location is ideal to explore the island from top to bottom since you are centrally located and I enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants or hop in the golf cart to French Leave which is just a couple mins drive. Kathy, the owner, is a wonderful host and greeted us after we arrived to get us acquainted with the house and answer any questions we had about Eleuthera. She provided a complimentary lasagna, a couple bottles of wine, beer, and water which was there when we arrived. There is also a management team that is on call 24/7 for you if you have any problems which is very comforting. The property is beautifully maintained and has all the comforts of home. Eleuthera is a very special place but not for everyone. There are beautiful unspoiled and uncrowded beaches and wonderfully friendly and kind people here. What you won't find is chairs lining the beach with full service amenities. If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, I suggest you contact Bacchus Fine Foods and schedule a night to have Angelica prepare a meal for you. Wonderful experience!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were 9 of us (two families- 4 adults and 5 kids ages 8-14) staying at Yellow House for the week. The house was perfect for us! We had two masters and the 5 kids each had their own beds in the other 2 bedrooms. It was so nice to have the pool for the late afternoons after being busy all day. The owner, Kathy, was very attentive. She met us after we arrived and went over some things in the house and made recommendations for different things we may need throughout the week. The house was very clean on arrival and the description of the house was perfect! It was decorated beautifully and we felt like we were guests in someone's house rather than being in a rental- it felt like home. It was well appointed and if we needed something, it was most likely at the house. We used the grill (worked great) several times and that was nice to keep the heat outside. The a/c units were very efficient. The golf cart was a very nice touch- just be sure not to leave the beach with the golf cart key so the rest of your party has to walk home an hour later! oops! We found that going north on French Leave Beach was well worth it. Instead of going straight when you see the blue, make a left and head down that dirt road. There was no one on that area of the beach and there was a little blow hole the kids enjoyed. The one thing we missed a bit was having an outdoor shower or hose to rinse off feet and legs after the beach- we just improvised and brought a bucket outside. All in all we absolutely loved our week at Yellow House. The time went way too quickly. We are all looking forward to our next visit!
