Great place!

The property was great for our family of four and could have fit more if we needed it to. The proximity to Governor's Harbor was perfect. Far away to not have noise from the nightlife, but close enough to get there for anything we needed (groceries, restaurants, etc.). It was a really nice setup to have the living area separate from the sleeping area. Anyone that woke up early could eat, make coffee, talk on the phone or watch TV without disrupting anyone that wanted to sleep in. The information the owners provide about things to do, see, eat were very detailed and appreciated. Would definitely stay there again. Eleuthera is a beautiful island and the house was a fantastic place to stay for the week!

The property looks great in the photos and sounds amazing in the description but is very run down. Most of the outdoor furniture was broken and unusable. The property was very clean and the owners extremely nice and informative. We did not have power or water for most of the first day and night which is obviously not the fault of the owner but unfortunately did not make for a pleasant stay. We ended up staying somewhere else for 2 of the 4 nights we booked.

This was our first vacation we've had without our children and other family members with us. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted it to be memorable. We couldn't have picked a better place. We didn't want clubs or crowds or noise, so Eleuthera was a perfect destination. And Bleu Sky was the perfect place to stay. Secluded enough that you felt like you were alone, never heard any of the neighbors, only saw them once in nine days. It was located in Governors Harbour, making it easy to go north or south depending on what we wanted to do. Bleu Sky is about five minutes from town, which has everything we needed. It felt more like staying at a friend's beach house than just a business transaction. We talked to our host, Jon, for a long time and he gave us so many tips on what to do and where to go, and some of the people we should pass on his greetings of we met them, which we did. Jon also provided us with a myriad of documentation containing directions to the house, ways to get to different beaches, emergency numbers, locations of medical facilities, and too many more things to list. Jon is so welcoming and personable, the first time we spoke with him he made us feel like we friends. We would go back to Bleu Sky in a heartbeat. Thank you, Jon, for helping us experience the vacation of a lifetime. We'll never forget our 30th anniversary. Oh, one more thing; go to Pascal's and sit at the bar outside. Tell Sammy, the bartender, that Jon says hello. Talk with Sammy and you can't help but smile. Also, his Pina coladas are a work of art.

We loved our stay at Bleu Sky, and Jon and Kelly were wonderful hosts who were very supportive during our time and helpful whenever we needed it. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful view of the "Atlantic" side of the island. You can easily walk to several beaches on that side in 10+ minutes, or drive even quicker. Highly recommend getting a 4 wheel drive or a van with good clearance as the road can be quite rough to get to the house. Very quiet, we rarely saw anyone else during our stay. But you can easily drive up to James Cistern or down to Governor's Harbour for food, dining, shopping. The room arrangement was wonderful and let everyone in our party have their privacy when needed, and the large common room was great for meals or just hanging out together. The host provided internet via a 4G WiFi access point as well as Amazon/Netflix for our use. Hot water seemed plentiful but it's wise to be frugal with it's use due to the cistern water system. Plenty of towels and linens were provided and everything was clean and neat on our arrival. We highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for their support during our stay!

This place was such a find. The location was exactly what we'd hoped. It's tucked away on a hillside with spectacular views of the Atlantic from every window. It feels very private without seeming isolated, and it's in close proximity to great restaurants and amenities. While not on the water, it's only a short drive or walk down the hill to one of the prettiest beaches on the island. We watched the sunrise on the beach every morning, and we were the only people there. Bleu Sky Villa is also centrally located on the island of Eleuthera, which makes it an easy drive from anywhere you'll want to go. The house itself had ample room and everything we could have wanted. The living area is beautifully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and lovely lighting. Three bedrooms and two baths are in a separate building, so you can get up and make coffee or stay up chatting without awakening people. Wifi is available through an iPad, but we rarely used it, cherishing the opportunity for our older daughters to unplug and reconnect with the natural beauty and with each other. My teenage daughter, initially reluctant to be dragged away from her friends, thanked us every day for bringing her on this trip. That was worth every penny. Though we intended to cook some dinners at the house, each night the pull of sunsets on the beach outweighed time spent on meal prep and cleanup, so we wound up at local restaurants. Be prepared to spend quite a bit on food, an expense we felt was well worth it, considering the beaches are all free. We did buy some groceries to cook breakfast each day, then packed sandwiches and fruit for picnics on the beach. The kitchen stores never disappointed. Communication with the homeowners and caretakers was exceptional. Jon was always extremely prompt in addressing any questions or concerns I had, not only in the months leading up to our arrival, but also throughout our stay. He provides a personal and comprehensive guide to the house, the settlement, and the island, full of pointers, recommendations, and useful information which was an essential resource for us. The caretakers Erika and Scott were delightful and thorough; the house was in immaculate shape when we moved in. Honestly, our only regret was that our week wasn't longer. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful property with a fantastic beach view. Be aware roads to it are bumpy which isn't unusual for the island. The drive is worth it! Great communication with Jon and Kelly who provide lots of information about things to do and restaurants.

The house was an excellent choice for my first Trip to Eleuthera. We enjoyed everything about the house especially the fabulous view of the ocean. I will definitely come back and stay here again soon

We chose Eleuthera as a staycation because vacations are still difficult. The property looks great on the website and it it. A fantastic great room and good bedrooms. The property was ready on time and clean. Access is via an unmade road, rent a 4x4 like a Jeep, you’ll need it as many roads including black access roads are unmade and rough. We used Cadet car rental, an older Jeep but it did the job We hired Jamme Higgs from Harbour island as a private chef for one night, she is excellent and highly recommended. Very good accommodation and hosts

The great room of this villa is exquisite. We watched Netflix almost every night with just the Moroccan light on. View is astounding. You can hear the waves crashing from the Atlantic. Jon is the best host we have ever had. He genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful time. If you are renting, get a vehicle with a high clearance, such as a Jeep. There are several great beaches within a two mile radius. Twin coves is a five minute car ride and is wonderful. Thanks again, Jon for all your help along the way!!
