Cal Capdevila is a traditional 19th century country house (built in 1866) situated on teh town square of Pira, a small town of approx. 450 inhabitants in the heart of the area 'Conca de Barberà' in Catalonia. The town is along the famous route 'Ruta del Cister'. The manor house, which was inhabited before by one of the wealthy families of the town, is restore in an old style, whereby the rustic details have been kept.. Due to its fully detached situation, all the rooms have daylight on four sides. The house was restored with the aim to make it suitable for countryside tourist and meet rigorous huis is gerestaureerd met als doel het geschikt te maken standards and is ethnic as well as decorative, functional as well as practical furnished. The house is divided into 3 duplex apartments. Each apartment is very well furnished, have a fully equipped kitchen and a courtyard or balcony with a barbeque. The house has more childrens pools, cots, wash machine, ironing board and round table games. 2 or 3 apartments is ideal to be rented together for groups up to max. 18 persons. The apartments can then be connected with each other via an indoor stairway. The dining and living room of the apartment 1 can then function as common space. During summer the communal swimming pool is open free of charge for the guests (within only 3 min. walk from the house). Within 7km it is possible to rent bicycles. Cal Capdevila is situated within only 7 km from Montblanc, the most important place of the area Conca de Barberà. This area have many beautiful spots, which can still be discovered like fields, woods, vineyards, fields with olive trees, almonds and the mountains of the Sierra de Prades..
