Access to the house is via key lock-box. We will provide the code details prior to your arrival. When we travel, sometimes we desire to be social, and sometimes not. Similarly, sometimes we want advice, and sometimes we like to discover things ourselves. With this in mind, we like to make arrangements with each guest to ascertain personal desire. We like to greet guests on the first day of arrival, however, this is not a requirement. Rather ensure you have everything you need and understand how things work in the house. We are happy to answer any questions you may have prior to and during your visit. When we know a little more about your visit, likes, and dislikes, we will offer some friendly tips and ideas for your stay!

Super apartment with a great view over the lake. Very well appointed, and very comfortable. We'll out of the town which for us was good. Excellent restaurant in easy walking distance.

About the neighbourhood
Our Cul-de-sac is in a residential area with amazing wide views overlooking the Remarkable mountains, Wakatipu lake, across to Kingston. Elevated from lake level, it offers incredible views and an amazing scenic experience if you walk down into town. Truly great photo opportunities!
A local grocery/liquor store, great Italian restaurant 'VKNOW' (on TripAdvisor) and bar, fish & chip shop are all within 3 minutes walk.
A children's outdoor playground 3 minutes walk away, offers possibly some of the best panoramic views from any playground! There is a great scenic walk woodland walk directly from the house to the top of SKYLINE Gondola.
Getting around
At the end of our Cul-de-sac and directly opposite on the main road is a bus stop. It is a 5-minute ride downhill into central Queenstown, with buses going every 20 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi is a cost effective way to travel locally. 'Takeme' is a local Queenstown version of 'Uber' which is very cost effective and efficient, this is our choice and our experience is very positive!

Airport: Queenstown Airport: 10.0 km
Our cul-de-sac of houses immediately off Fernhill Road. Our townhouse is approx in the middle of the right-hand side row.

During your stay, it's easy to move around Queenstown by foot, taxi, local bus and car.

Directions:
From Airport - If utilising buses or taxi during your trip, we recommend initially travelling to the house by Taxi or Airport Supershuttle. A public bus taken from Airport will require you to change service in Queenstown centre.

Car:
From Queenstown Center, travel up Fernhill road, past The Heritage Hotel which is on your left. The road bends left, then right, you will see an outdoor children's playground area on your right. Indicate left and on next left bend is left hand turn into Alpine Meadows.
