In the cosy Edge Hill Village, the apartment/house is a short stroll from the Tropical Botanical Gardens, The "Red Arrow" which is a popular rain forest walk ,Cycling tracks, local cafes and restaurants. Perfect size for 2 adults who want quiet and friendly atmosphere
This was definitely a place for repeat custom. We will return here again when we next visit Cairns. Convenient to shops, bus stop, airport, car hire, and sights. Large, clean and comfortable and quiet. Everything you could ask for and our host was so helpful and friendly, especially Tess our four-legged visitor. Highly recommended.

A garden apartment that ticks all the boxes.
The apartment is located just north of Cairns in a quiet suburb well serviced by buses if you don’t have a car. All the comforts of home are provided including a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, large walk-in shower, barbecue and full laundry facilities. My husband and I have just returned from spending two wonderful weeks staying in Lee’s apartment and hope to return again. Lee was very welcoming and approachable if needed during our stay but also respected our privacy always. Thanks Lee (and Tess) we had a wonderful holiday in sunny, warm Cairns.

Great accommodation in a lovely location....
If you're looking for easy care, modern and comfortable accommodation close to amenities, this is the place for you. It had everything you could need on hand and I spent 5 very happy days here while attending a workshop in the nearby Botanical Gardens. Anything that wasn't in the unit was speedily provided on request, and the owner went out of her way to explain attractions and provide directions. The four-footed "second in command" was a delight and was happy to visit on a regular basis for any dog lover missing their best friend at home. I couldn't recommend this unit highly enough--you are sure to enjoy your stay.

Just superb in the very way
Set in peaceful,quiet location round the corner from shops,cafes and amenities,with easy access to city centre,airport and coastal roads.
The apartment was a joy to stayin,very clean,spacious and well equipped with comfortable clean furnishings.
Adjacent to the owners property the apartment is private with own entrance and private garden area.
Owner very lovely and helpful,on hand if required.

Excellence place, well equipped accommodation for small family
We stay for 9 days for our holiday, it is very clean, well equipped and very handy for everything you need for short or long holiday, I can wash and dry cloths even in the rainy days,
The property is close to most of the activities, but away from the noise area.
We are very happy to stay here, Evelyn is very kind and helpful, we will come back again if we visit Cairns again.

Great place to stay and relax
We stayed with Lee for 10 days while we were house hunting in Cairns and had a great time. The place is modern, clean and well equipped with everything you need to have a relaxed time. Lee and her dog are a pleasure to stay with. The area is safe and quiet and it’s only a short drive to the lovely Botanic Gardens. I can highly recommend this place.

Fab host, fab location, fab extras!
We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and were quite happy with our choice. The apartment is located just a few blocks from the center of the Edge Hill village--lots of restaurants, shops and a small grocer within easy walking distance. The Botanical Garden is only two blocks further. We could drive to the downtown area of Cairns within 15 minutes and the airport in less than that. There is also a bus on the next block that goes directly downtown.
The photos in the posting are very accurate –very stylish and roomy home. We usually stay in self-catered apartments when we travel. We have NEVER encountered a kitchen that was better equipped for cooking. Even a gas grill! And three ways to make coffee. Now that is my idea of heaven.
The open plan living and kitchen area is quite large—very spacious for just two. I think it would be comfortable for four also. Everything was super clean and in working order. The apartment was bright and cheery. The very comfortable beds and the quiet neighborhood made a good night sleep possible.
The rest of the house is as thoughtfully equipped as the kitchen, including beach towels, grill tools, basic spices, tea, guide books, and coffee table books on local history. Lee also provided a notebook of tourist brochures, restaurant menus, and maps showing locations for the grocer, butcher, bakery, etc.
The host was very helpful, greeting us immediately upon arrival with lots of good cheer and information. She gave us a tour of the apartment and showed us how to work the clothes washer and dryer, an extra that most hosts seem to forget.
Since the host lives in another house on the property, she was always available for questions but never invaded our privacy.
In short, we had a fabulous stay and will return on our next trip to Cairns.

Beautiful. Apartment!
Great; spacious apartment in a wonderful location. Lee and her dog Tess are great hosts that made us feel welcome.
Location by the Botanical Gardens is quiet without being too far from the downtown area.
Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in a quiet location. Has everything you need and is quite spacious.
We found it good to use as a base for day trips to the many things to see and do around Cairns and was lovely to come 'home' to, to relax or cook a meal.

Exceptionally Excellent
This apartment in a quiet leafy location is superb. Niche cafes restaurants and botanical garden is within walking distance. Everything you need plus more is provided by Evelyn Lee. Fabulous setup! We hope to return!
