From the day we booked the unit, all through our trip, Verda was in communication with us and gave us lots of great information about the area, things to do, etc. The property is beautiful and the staff on site are all very nice and accommodating. The property is about a 10 minute drive into Coco where you can find grocery stores, restaurants and all other conveniences. The unit is as beautiful in person as you see in the pictures. We saw a humpback whale with her baby almost every day not far off the beach. You can hear howler monkeys in the mornings and evenings right on the property. We made great memories and can't wait for our next trip.

The home was amazing!! The listing was exactly as stated and much more… the owners were super helpful and informative. They provided great detail and care in our experience from arrival instructions to our departure. The home was beautifully decorated, in a great location on the resort and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful, I highly recommend and will definitely return!!

Our stay at the Flying H was amazing. The place was perfect for our four teenagers, my husband and me. Every morning we sat on veranda and just enjoyed the ocean. The beach is very private and sometimes we had it all to ourselves. Our second morning we saw a humpback whale; our second last morning we saw a humpback whale and her baby! The howler monkeys swung right by the beach one day putting on a wonderful show. We snorkelled nearly every day seeing many sea turtles, sting rays, an eel and beautiful tropical fish! Having laundry on-site was a blessing as was the A/C. Cesar was amazing arranging tours and answering any questions we had. Verda was wonderful, kind and very responsive. We recommend renting a vehicle - we went into town everyday to go to the gym and/or get groceries, we also went on a trip to see sloths (directions and the idea given to us by Verda). We took an over night trip to Arenal (highly recommend). We cannot say enough good things about the Flying H villa! It was paradise and even the teenagers gave it rave reviews. Thank you Verda and Neil for sharing your Costa Rican paradise with us!

I cannot fully express into words how wonderful of a vacation me and my family had at the Flying H Villa! The villa is gorgeous and provides everything needed to ease right into vacation mode. Verda and Neil are wonderful hosts, very communicative and share so many helpful details. The staff at Bahia Pez Vela office and Maracuya restaurant were so professional, welcoming and simply wonderful. The food and drinks at the pool/restaurant are superb! We also tried many of the recommended nearby restaurants and all were very good - Santorini, Coconutz, Father Roosters, and suggest adding the new Numu Tap House (in Pacifico Village) to the list. We stocked up on fruits and breakfast items from the Auto Mercado. The rental car recommendation was perfect and so easy as they brought the car right to us at the airport. My family very much enjoyed the beautiful black sand beach and all of the beautiful natural surroundings. A highlight was hearing and seeing the howler monkeys in the trees right by the villa. I can go on and on! I also see my myself making several return trips to Flying H Villa! Thank you! Pura Vida!!!!!!!

Read the reviews and book with confidence. We absolutely loved our stay at the Flying H Villa. This was our family’s first trip to Costa Rica and we’ll definitely be back and will stay here again. We loved the town, the people, the property management staff, location, wildlife and everything this place had to offer. Verda couldn’t have been more wonderful. She really helped make our vacation amazing! I’ve been booking places from VRBO for probably 15 years or more and this was one of the best experiences!
We can’t wait to go back!!!
