Recently renovated and modernised, private two bed roomed Cave House with a plunge pool.
It is just a few minutes walk from the peaceful and welcoming village of Cortes de Baza,situated in rustic Andalucia.
The Cavehouse is a 5 min walk away from the Rio Castril and just a 15min walk from the local swimming pool. (seasonal)
There are several airports within a couple of hours drive.

Country retreat
Peaceful country location.Lovely walks around the local area.Short drive to traditional Spanish village.
The cave house has everything provided,comfortable and clean.Well stocked bookshelves too!The swimming pool is private and perfect to dip into on a hot day.A lovely relaxing place.

wow a lovely cave!
My wife and i found the rental was perfect, fully equipped spotlessly clean, in easy walking distance to the lovely village of cortes.Claire the owner and her partner wilbut are two of the nicest people you will ever come across! I have stayed in many a cave house and this one is one of the very BEST!!! Thanks for a very happy 6 weeks. See you soon!!!

Cosy Christmas
Our first winter visit.Cosy cave with a roaring log fire.Great walks along the river,beautiful weather .Very cold at night.Wrap up warm when out and about.A lovely relaxing break.Thank you once again Claire.See you again soon.

Wonderful Cave house in a stuning area
The scenery nearby including the gorge and park at Castril is stunning. Negratin lake is great for swimming. The house is a home from home with everything you need. It was so relaxing, I have not slept so well for months! Claire is a great host and is very friendly. The private pool is small but perfect.

Amazona cave
Really good cave, full equiped and close to the center of cortes de baza. Perfect for four persons and you have a small swimming pool and a place to park two cars in front of the door out of the sun.
Buena cueva, muy bien equipada y cerquita del centro de cortes de baza. Es perfecta para cuatro personas a parte de tener una piscina pequeña perfecta para verano y sitio en la puerta para aparcar dos coches a la sombra.

Muy buena cueva
Cueva muy bien equipada, con una pequeña piscina ideal para el verano, sitio en la puerta para dejar dos coches y encima con un toldo que hacía que les diera la sombra y está muy bien ubicada cerca del centro del pueblo. Perfecto para cuatro personas.
Trato excelente por parte de la propietaria.

Muy buena opción si quieres tranquilidad
Estuvimos 8 días. La cueva está totalmente equipada. Tiene todo el menaje necesario tanto en la cocina, baño etc. La cueva es espaciosa y está muy bien decorada y limpia. Se nota que tiene una reforma reciente. Los anfitriones son muy amables y simpaticos, cuidan cada detalle. Fuimos con dos niñas pequeñas, los anfitriones nos dejaron juguetes y juegos para ellas, luces quitamiedos para la noche y agua y leche fresca en la nevera para cuando llegamos. Son detalles que se agradecen mucho cuando vas con niñas pequeñas. El patio es amplio para cenar allí y la piscina no es muy grande, pero está muy bien. La cueva es muy fresca y cómoda, sin duda repetiremos.

Séjour dans une cueva
Cette location est une maison troglodyte,l'intérieur est donc frais et sur la terrasse,une petite piscine très agréable et suffisante pour les fortes chaleurs d'été. Claire, la propriétaire vit juste au-dessus. Elle est vraiment sympathique et discrète. La maison est au bord d'une petite route mais calme. Cortes de baza est un petit village d'Andalousie avec quelques petits commerces,très calme et tout le monde est très respectueux des règles de sécurité liées au covid. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, merci à Claire et Wulbert.

Merci pour votre avis, que j'apprecie. Ce sont des moments bizarres a cause de covid. Je suis tres heureux que vous sentiez en securite a La Sonadora et Cortes de Baza. J'habite au-dessus de La Sonadora mais en retrait. La Sonadora est concue pour etre in lieu prive. Je suis a proximite si besoin mais ne m'impose pa's. Je suis heureux que vous ayez apprecie vos vacances et que vous ayez apprecie votre sejour ici.
