Other popular day trips include Albi, Carcassonne, Toulouse and the Pyrenees. Bordeaux is 3 hours away and Barcelona 4 hours - both easy to reach for a weekend. Includes bedding, towels, pool towels from last Saturday in May to end of September, hairdryer, Nespresso coffee machine, fans. Interaction with guests
We will be there to greet you, show you around and give you your keys. We are available to help with recommendations, and attraction and restaurant bookings. Most guests prefer to be left to themselves so we try and take a back seat although you will see us around the garden and the pool in late afternoons/early evenings and we are always happy to chat and give advice on the area.

About the neighbourhood
We are just within the boundaries of the Causses de Quercy national park and some 10 mins from Cahors, 25 mins from Saint Cirq Lapopie, 45 Mins from Rocamadour and 2.5 hours from the closest Mediterranean beach. This area is known for its wines and gastronomy as well as the pretty, stone villages, caves and historic, medieval bastides set on the cliffs overlooking the valleys. There is plenty to do here with many boat trips or sports such as canoeing, walking, rock-climbing, cycling as well as a vast choice of interesting places to visit. Mix this with our lovely pool and garden and you'll enjoy a relaxing stay.
Getting around
A car is recommended. There is a local, family-run taxi company nearby - must be booked in advance.
