Formerly part of Manor Farm now a separate residence, Manor Farm Cottage welcomes you with an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, and lounge, complete with log burning stove and French doors leading out onto the lawn with beautiful views of the Meden valley. This luxurious holiday cottage has been awarded a 4 STAR Gold Award by Visit Britain. NEW FOR 2018 - A 3PM CHECK OUT ON A SUNDAY FOR WEEKEND STAYS The cottage provides an ideal base to explore Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire which are great for walking, cycling and visiting National Trust properties & stately homes. Fully refurbished recently, the cottage provides excellent self catering accommodation with a traditional feel and modern comforts throughout. > On the first floor are three bedrooms with restored pine shutters, tastefully decorated and furnished. A king size bedroom (which can be made a twin if desired) with views over the countryside, a twin room with views over the countryside and a further double bedroom, altogether sleeping six in comfort. > Relax in the roll top slipper bath in the bathroom, which also has a separate shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. > For an original touch of the Victorian era why not use the separate Victorian style toilet – almost throne like! > The property is surrounded by gardens, lawns, an orchard and views over open countryside. There is plenty of room for children to play or why not sit out on the rear lawn and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Bring your own bicycles and enjoy riding around the open countryside in the local area, as well as the 'Teversal Trails', which provide great walking and cycling opportunities on the former lines of the Midland and Great Northern railways. > There is ample parking on the driveway to the front of the property. > Golf, a driving range, fishing and horse riding are all available locally. PLEASE NOTE that changeover days are a Friday or Monday if you have another day in mind please contact us first, prior to booking online in order for us to provide you with the best possible price. Lovely Cottage. The Stairs to the first floor bedrooms are narrow, very tight and a spiral in an old fashioned way! So not recommended for the disabled. But on the whole a very good presented Cottage. The owners live in the main Farm building.
