Villa Tak Kae is our home in Thailand, set in a lush tropical walled-garden with exotic tropical plants and a step-over lotus pool. Here you can enjoy our large, private swimming pool (11m x 4m) in complete seclusion and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to Bang Tao beach.
In the villa are 3 large bedrooms, all beautifully furnished in a modern Thai style. The master bedroom has great views out to the sunny garden and pool. Its ensuite bathroom is equipped with double sinks, a luxury double-size jacuzzi bath and a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 is accessed from the main corridor in the property and its ensuite bathroom has double sinks, a sunken bath and walk-in shower. It can also be accessed from the main corridor of the property. Bedroom 3 is accessed from the main corridor in the property...

Wonderful villa.
This was our second stay at Villa Tak Kae. The villa is beautiful, very spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The inside, swimming pool and garden area are spotlessly clean and immacuately kept. The resort is very quiet and peaceful yet only a short tuk-tuk ride from the beautiful beach. There are restaurants and small supermarkets within walking distance and taxis are readily available for longer journeys. The owners are quick to respond to any queries and the booking process was made easy by them. We had a great time at Villa Tak Kae and would not hesitate to recommend it. We would love to return for a third time in the future! Thank you to Julia and John.

Lovely. fully equipped, comfortable property
For a group of friends, the property with 3 good sized bedrooms, enough bathrooms (3) and a very nice living/ dining area to hang out together was perfect for our needs. All the fixtures and furniture is done to very high standards and just works. The pool and the outdoor sitting area is lovely. The owners are very helpful throughout.
The cook they organized for us for superb, better than restaurants.
Its also reasonably close the Bang Tao beach, which is very good. Can walk there in 15-20 mins but we took a tuk tuk and reached in 5 minutes most of the time.

Paradise
Villa Tak Kae really is a taste of paradise.
The villa is set within a walled garden, providing complete privacy. The pool is a great size and surrounded by a beautiful planted garden. There is a large Sala on the roof terrace, ideal for bbqs.
The villa has been refurbished to a really high standard, with all the amenities and equipment you could possibly need. All of the rooms are really spacious, with the master suite overlooking the pool.
The location is perfect, a short walk to a beautiful, quiet beach. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and bars within a short walk. The night market which is held twice a week is amazing for purchasing local produce and gifts.
I would strongly recommend an evening meal at a restaurant on the beach, watching the sun set. Very reasonably priced and great, fresh fish.
This truely is the most beautiful villa. The extra little touches throughout made for an unforgettable holiday. My only regret is that I didn’t stay for longer, I can’t wait to return.

Breathtaking Villa in Paradise!
We spent 3 weeks enjoying all the delights of this villa and it was the perfect base to enjoy the surrounding area. It is perfectly situated to walk to the beach (10 minutes) and the local restaurants and amenities. The villa itself and breathtaking when you first see it. It is spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need but the highlights for us were the Pool and the Sala. The pool is a great size for everyone to enjoy it and for us it was great to swim after dark which most hotels do not let you do. The Sala was great at all times of day as it provides shade from the sun and there is a breeze up there to escape the hottest parts of the day. The view is amazing over the fields and it is a great place to enjoy a drink and the sunset. We enjoyed one of the best holidays we've ever had here and we can't wait to plan a trip to go back.

Relaxing in paradise
This was my second stay at villa Tak Kae, I loved it so much I had to go back again & I’m sure it won’t be my last time. The Villa is beautiful, very spacious with a stunning pool and finished to a very high specification. The Villa is situated a short walk to the beach and only 15 minutes walk to a lively area full of restaurants and bars. There are 2 supermarkets in walking distance plus a fabulous market twice a week right on the doorstep.
The property is well maintained & you can request that the house or pool/ garden area be serviced as often as you wish. There are all the facilities to cook for yourself or there is room service available from the onsite restaurant too.
I also had a fantastic massage in the on site spa!!
This truly is paradise and really caters for all holiday tastes. I would definitely recommend

Great relaxing villa that has it all
The villa has 3 large bedrooms all with ensuites, we especially enjoyed the ensuite with the glass ceiling as it was wonderfull to see the moon at night and the light during the day.
All rooms are air conditioned with seperate controls which allowed me to have the best sleep for a long time.
Good size living and dining room with a view of the pool
You can enjoy dining at home (BBQ upstairs with great views and eating area), great takeaway from the reception area or walking 500 meters in either direction for restaurants.
The kitchen has all the modern equipment and the living room has large TV and sound system.
The pool is the key for us, to lounge around during the day or a quick dip in the evening.
The beach is about 500 meters away and is long and sandy.
A great place to relax and get away from modern day stress ..... until we have to leave to go back home

Nice and Private for family holliday
The Villa is Perfect for family's and is in a quiet area of Phuket. Bang Tao beach is still not overcrowd and you can find a private place if you like.

This is a fantastic villa and great place to stay
We had such a fabulous time staying at this villa. It was beautiful inside and outside. The swimming pool is huge and amazing. Can dine inside or outside including up on the rooftop terrace. Added bonus was the each bedroom had its’ own ensuite and all beautifully decorated. Welcome package excellent and added bonus was the WiFi. John and Julia were fantastic in helping arrange airport transfer and island tour and shopping expedition. Beach so close by and loved the beach dining. Also recommend the restaurant bar across the road...quaint and great food...even villa delivery! Thoroughly recommend staying and chilling out at this very special villa. Thanks John and Maree

Wonderful villa, loved Bang Tao beach
We had a wonderful family holiday staying at this villa. It is part of The Residence which is a resort/gated community of very private villas and a spa. The villa is luxurious in a tasteful, understated way. I would actually say the photographs do not do the villa justice.
The family loved having a private pool, especially as it is salt water. The area gets plenty sun morning and afternoon and the pool is a good temperature. There is also plenty shade in the table/seating area. We never used the roof top BBQ and seating area but it was tastefully done.
We are so glad we chose this over a hotel. As well as a private pool, it is so useful having the option of a kitchen (dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker) and utility room (washing machine and tumble dryer).
The villa is in a great location. It was less than 10 min walk to Bang Tao beach. We often paid 100 baht for tired legs and a tuk tuk back in the evening. Although there are a lot of hotels, the beach is 6km long and it never felt busy, especially compared to some of the other Phuket beaches. There are options for a meal on the beach and some great beach massage huts. We were warned parts of the beach drop off quickly but we never had a problem with the kids playing in the water. The only thing we disliked were the jet skis but they are on every beach alas.
In the other direction, it is again a short walk (or 100 baht tuktuk) to some shops and restaurants including a Boots, Tesco Lotus, McDonalds, Taste restaurant (recommended) and a great cafe for breakfast called Worra. There are a couple of different night markets in this area. Opposite The Residence is a Thai restaurant called Bamboo - we really liked the Thai dishes in there and is was well priced.
Our only regret is we did not book in for two weeks. We would love to go back.

Fantastic well euquiped house
Great accommodation, great pool, everything you could want in a fantastic location. The nearest restaurant, Bamboo, has really good local food. We will return.

The villa is located just a 10-15 minute walk to the beautiful Bang Tao beach, where you have a choice of dining options and a great spot to enjoy the sunset! It's a 15 minute walk, in the other direction, to Boat Avenue for shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Getting around
If you want to explore the island you can either hire a car and drive yourself, or an alternative option is to arrange a driver for a half day or full day. This provides you with full flexibility to spend as much or as little time in each spot, whilst leaving road safety and navigation to someone else. After all you are on holiday!
