Value for Money LOB in Raja Ampat . Love it.
Went on a 8d7n Raja Ampat LOB with Seamore Papua. She is a beautiful traditional Indonesia phinishi vessel designed for divers. Steady sailing. Not the luxury line but definitely value for money. Rear dive deck means easy getting on & off to dinghy. They have nitrox onboard. Dive crew are systematic, helpful, experienced & with safety in mind. We have 4 experienced guides leading 14 of us in small groups. Rooms are air conditioned, ensuited with shower and water closet, comfy & clean beds. Room size is a bit small though. Main deck rooms are generally more spacious & less noisy than lower deck. Buffet style meals with free flow of coffee, tea, chocolate drinks, biscuits, crackers & bread in between. Local cooking style means most dishes are spicy, even the soup. Tips : Light sleeper is encourage to take the main deck room which is further away from the engine room. Tips : good idea to bring along some instant noodles, tid bits or some packet sources for extra flavours.

Great Liveaboard Experience
Extremely value for money liveaboard in the stunning Raja Ampat. Professional divemasters and crew on board Seamore Papua, always friendly and ready to help. Facilities on board are really comprehensive - max 2 divers to a room, with ensuite bathroom with hot water, working air-conditioner, lights, and comfy mattresses, pillows and blankets. Water pressure and temp in the bathroom is not very good especially after the last dive when everyone is showering, but is something I'm willing to put up with. Boat is spacious and made my 8D/7N stay very comfortable. Food is average, but after a dive everyone is hungry anyway so it's easy to put up with. The diving in Raja Ampat is absolutely perfect, relaxing and enjoyable. The variety of marine life is eye-opening and beautiful. There are some currents, so caution should be exercised, but I'm a novice diver and could handle them, so it should be ok for most.
