This beautifully converted hay barn is located in La Mancelliere, Manche. It's set in its own grounds surrounded by open countryside making it ideally situated for walking, cycling, exploring or just relaxing.

Newly furnished to a high standard, the barn provides a spacious open plan living area, a well equipped kitchen and 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower and toilet. This is a luxury (no smoking) holiday home.

Excellent. A superb stay start to finish. Comfy beds, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen. Massive gardens plenty of space for kids to play in. Really peaceful beautiful location. Plenty of information from welcoming owners. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully appointed, clean and spacious..with a proper cooker and washing machine! Sunny, and perfect location for discovering the fabulous areas La Manche, and the Mayenne, It has everything - home from home. We loved it. Best holiday Gite we have stayed in. If you like...More

About the neighbourhood
Reffuveille village is (5 mins) for a baker and bar, whilst at Brecey town (15 mins) you will find a large super market, pizza restaurant, bank, chemist cafe, petrol station and florist.

St Hilaire, about 17 mins drive away has a very large weekly market on a Wednesday from 9am. You will also find a swimming complex there and good bars and restaurants.

Avranches (25 mins) museum holds the priceless manuscripts of Mont St Michel Abbey. Villedieu-les-poeles, The City of Copper (30 mins) is well worth a visit.

The Saltwood Barn is only an hours drive from the St Malo Ferry terminal (the closest ferry port), and is a great place to visit as part of your holiday. However Cherbourg is the fastest way to get there with your own car, using the Brittany Ferries fast craft (2 1/2 hour crossing from Portsmouth).
