Occupying an enviable quiet position in the heart of Brentor, this semi-detached holiday cottage boasts uninterrupted stunning views over Dartmoor. Sleeping four, it makes an ideal base for a walking, hiking or cycling holidays and has moor views from all rooms within the cottage, the summer house and the gardens.

Brentor is a village in West Devon and lies about half a mile from the familiar West Devon landmark of Brentor Church, a picturesque 13th century church perched precariously atop the granite mound of Brent Tor.

The cottage has two bedrooms. The master is a large room with views over the moor and contains a king size bed and has ample storage. The second room also has clear views to the moor and has two 2'6' twin beds. A folding travel cot and high chair are available on request.

Brentor is a village in West Devon, England. The village is dominated by the hill of Brent Tor, topped by the village's church.

The origins of the name Brentor are old Devonian, a Brythonic Celtic language related to Cornish, Welsh and Breton and spoken in Devon until the early Middle Ages 'Bryn' and 'tor' meaning 'hill of the rock tower'.

At Lydford, 4 miles to the north-east, there is the remarkable Lydford Gorge with its spectacular waterfall and riverside walk, together with Lydford Castle and prison, a village pub, an italian restaurant and the renowned Dartmoor Inn gastropub.

From Bedford Square in Tavistock proceed along Drake Road between Lloyds and HSBC banks on the Chillaton/Brentor Road. Follow this road for approximately 4.5 miles past Brentor Church on the right. Turn left signposted Brentor and Mary Tavy. (Full details when booking complete)

From Exeter and the M5 motorway, follow the A30 dual carriageway towards Okehampton. Turn off at Sourton, signed to Tavistock and follow the A386 for about 5 miles. At the Dartmoor Inn, turn right into School Lane signed to Lydford and Brentor. (Full details when booking complete)
