Part of a former coaching inn restored to maintain its authenticity, "Le Relais" is a charming guest apartment with walls in typical "Caen" stones, visible beams, beautiful decorative fireplaces. There are one double bedroom with a king size bed, one bedroom with twin beds and an additional bed, one bathroom (bath / shower / sink) and separate toilet. - Large shared garden with garden furniture, picnic tables, barbecue... - Two play areas : a huge playbarn equipped with soft-play, slides, ride-ons, trampoline... and a big outdoor area with swing set and sandpit. - Library of books and DVDs for young and old alike - Maps, brochures and flyers on what to see and to do - Heating, water and electricity, bed linen and towels - End of stay cleaning included on prior agreement (or 50 € charged). - Free Wi-Fi internet access everywhere in the property. - Optional services (detailed list and prices on request) : Restaurant services: « table d'hôtes », host tray, picnic basket… on request Well-being services: massages and beauty treatments can be booked Other services are available such as pre arrival shopping, babysitting, tasting sessions of apple products in a restored former apple store. - Parking space in the property secured by locked gates - "PLUS" for babies and toddlers : The property is a child-friendly holiday place with all the necessary baby and toddler equipment : from pushchair, highchair and change table to sterilizer... Location : The gite located in the heart of the Lower Normandy countryside, is at the crossroads of the different Calvados areas. Within 45 minutes drive, you can discover the tourist attractions of our Region : historical sites (and WWII sites and museums), artistic and cultural places to visit and events not to miss, treasures of Heritage and architecture, as well as many leisure facilities (aquatic center, canoeing places, horse-riding places, bike paths...) and children activities (vast sandy beaches, miniature railway, zoos, theme parks...). The Manoir de La Pataudière is also an ideal step on the road to Mont Saint-Michel.

Charming B and B; lovely food

We had three nights here in September as a base to see Suisse Normande. Lovely hosts, delightful setting, roomy, clean and well equipped accommodation. Highlight was the evening meals, freshly prepared, delicious and served at your own dining table. Had to force ourselves to go out to a restaurant on our last night! Highly recommended.
