Our house is a modern, very spacious, 3 bedroomed property set amidst paddy fields and rural Thailand at its very best. The property is set in 3 acres of natural gardens, complete with main fish pond, fountains, BBQ area, Sala etc. The main pond is 20 metres by 30 metres and the gardens seen from the main and side porch areas are truly stunning. The gardens are a nature lovers' paradise, disturbed only by the sounds of birdsong. Two of the very spacious bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the third bedroom has an adjoining private bathroom.The kitchen has all the facilities expected of a modern home with full cooking and laundry facilities. About the neighbourhood
The economy of our local area is based on rice, sugar beet and silk production. International tourism is still very much a novelty in this area. Many people from Bangkok come up the buy silk and visit the sights, but the numbers on non-Thai tourists are small. The immediate area surrounding our house is surrounded by paddy fields. We have very good road access although the area is very peaceful , with the main inter departmental road over a kilometre away.There are country lanes all around us,best explored by bicycles which we have for your free use. The local people really must be some of the friendliest anywhere and they love to try out their basic English skills with foreign visitors.

The house is in Ban Khwao, a village15 kms from Chayaphum. This is 4-5 hours drive from Bangkok.

By car head North out of Bangkok on route 1. Take the turn off for Nakhon Ratchasima, route 20, then the route 201 for Chayaphum. 15 kms before Chaiyaphum take a left sign for Ban Khwa. rural road 3067

There are 8 buses a day from Bangkok from the Northern Bus Terminal, approx 6 hours.

There are flights from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima and Khon Kaen which are both 1 1/2 hours from Ban Khwao.
