Holiday Rental House
Our Finca is located close to the mountain village of Minca, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, 16 km from the Caribbean city of Santa Marta. With dedication and commitment we would like to bring the Colombian culture closer to our guests . That's why we involve the local population in our work and collaborate with them to the mutual enrichment. Finca Bolivar engages itself for a sustainable tourism and a conscious approach to the environment. Our boutique - Cabana with two double rooms and a dorm for four people is located directly on the Rio Gaira where you can take a pleasant bath after a hot day. This small hostel has one dorm room and two private rooms. It’s in a beautiful natural setting and the hostel is very well equipped. It’s very clean and has a great kitchen with a dining table and a TV with stacks of DVDs. Highly recommended...More

About the neighbourhood
Minca and the Sierra Nevada attracts people from all over the world with its unique flora and fauna. It is an ideal starting point for numerous activities such as hiking, biking, swimming, or excursions to the ancient Indian city 'Ciudad Perdida'. Furthermore, this part of Colombia is appreciated by ornithologists due to its many species of birds. Nestled between the Rio Gaira and the Rio Arimaca at 650 meters altitude, Minca has a pleasantly cooler climate than Santa Marta. A rich variety of plants line the roads and paths that lead to the various attractions in the area.
Getting around
Most places are accessible with mototaxis as well. You can find the prices at the Mototaxi station in Minca. During the rainy season the roads are usually in a very bad condition and mototaxi rides can be a bit bumpy.
