This unique barn conversion is in a village location a stroll from the local pubs, shops and pitch and putt course. It has been restored to the highest standard and has 2 bedrooms, a solid fuel burner and a wonderful multi level garden area with an enclosed play area at the front for small children. Original stone walls are exposed and these blend nicely with modern day touches.

The cottage is fully equipped. It makes a great touring base for the North East Coast of Ireland. It is close to historical sites including Newgrange, Hill of Tara, Loughcrew Cairns, Mellifont Abbey, Trim Caste (Braveheart movie), Kells High Crosses and the Jumping Church (Ardee). About the neighbourhood
The village of Drumconrath is a small historic village situated in north County Meath and borders counties Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. There is approximately 400 people living in the village.

Set in forested drumlin countryside and surrounded by small lakes, it is a long-established angling centre with many picturesque walking areas. Lough Bracken and the smaller lakes of Corstown and Balrath, and the River Dee are situated in this area.

It's a great place to experience country life and yet only a short distance from local towns, Ardee, Navan, Drogheda, Dundalk and Carrickmacross where you can find restaurants, large supermarkets, cinema, shopping centres and so forth. Dublin Airport is a 45 minute drive and Dublin city approx 1 hr

From Dublin, take the M1 north and come off at Exit 14. Drive into Ardee town and take the N52 (Kells). Drive on this road for approximately 5 mins, then take the R165 (Kingscourt). The cottage is 3 miles from this junction and is located in the village of Drumconrath.
