Overall we were quite pleased with the house and what it offered us. The house itself is modern and and updated and large enough to accommodate a big group comfortably. The layout of the house was quite nice too, with a large kitchen that was open to a super spacious dining and living area. From the living room windows you have a beautiful view of the Caribbean.
There is a damaged structure across the street with some broken concrete slabs. (There is a bit of re-bar as well so it's not the best water to take kids out into. However we just took the kids to Ten Mile Beach which was only about a 10 minute drive away and the best beach for young kids anyhow!) So none of that mattered to us as adults. You can see just fine where to step and not to step, and once you are in the water it's gorgeous and there's even a real sandy cove just to the right. (But not a beach.) We brought blow up paddleboards with us which made it such a unique and perfect place. The coastline to the north is completely undeveloped. There is quite a few places to snorkel and fish that were abundant in ocean life. There is the occasional power outages so headlamps would be good to have. The property management company was very responsive when we needed anything. BUT this is a remote island so some things are hard to come by. Bring anything and everything you want to be sure to have there. We hope to one day make it back there and revisit the area.
