We first booked Parlay around three years ago, but the pandemic canceled our trip.. The following year we rescheduled and once again Covid got in the way.. The owners were extremely nice and helpful through it all. Last week, we finally made it to Parlay at Sunset and it was most definitely worth the wait. You see the beautiful pictures of this home and island online, but they do not capture just how incredibly beautiful this place is. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and Caribbean Sea all to ourselves at Parlay. It’s so private and so beautiful. My family enjoyed all of the water toys they provide and we snorkeled for hours and hours everyday. We saw so much sea life everyday, right there in the backyard. We would have different experiences and find new things everyday. We had an incredible time at Parlay at Sunset and are so thankful we finally made it. It was much more than we ever expected. To the owners, thank you for sharing your home and paradise with us and for being so nice and helpful throughout it all.

The house is situated on a beautiful beach and the back yard was beautifully landscaped. The kitchen was very well stocked, as was the beach and snorkel equipment. The property manager was friendly and responsive. I asked him if he knew where I could get Guava Duff, next day there was one on our bar in the kitchen. The rental car that was available through the house was way better than the one we rented from the airport. Thanks Diana for a wonderful stay. Your packet of info was very helpful, and we loved having the private chef fix dinner the first night. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The beach is so peaceful with most days just us there enjoying the view and the calm clear waters. Perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. Each morning, we got up and just sat on chairs on the beach enjoying our morning coffee and planning out our day. The water is so clear and calm that it is very much like having a giant pool in your backyard. We found plenty to do at the home, enough to where it was difficult deciding whether we should explore other places on the island, or just stay and enjoy the beach at our back yard.

Everything about this property was perfect! We could not have been happier with the home, the view, and all interactions with Diana and team. This is where we will always return to!

Probably one of the best on the island! Clean! Updated! Perfectly located! Everything was wonderful. Gorgeous views and fantastic people. Diana was a dream to work with and her property manager was the Best! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Amazing location with your own private beach. Close to airport and downtown Tarpum Bay has great local fresh food and friendly hospitality. Coming back again next year. Ken & Audrey handled everything from rental cars to chef Kara making dinner. Very special memories for our Family trip of 8

Staying at Parlay at Sunset was one of the best vacations we have ever had. My only regret is not spending more time at Parlay. Here are some of the reasons that you should choose Parlay at Sunset: We visited the rental in June and experienced a tropical storm that produced a large amount of rain and lighting. Most of the area lost power for hours. However, Parlay at sunset never skipped a beat. The power never went out for us because the generator always kicked in. We were never out of power and the internet connection was mostly consistent. We loved the location! Parlay is situated on the beautiful bite side, where you can see amazing creatures. It’s a wonderful place to swim, snorkel, and explore the waters. Some of the areas are a little rocky in parts, but it was never an issue for my 6-year-old. She had no problems! The rental is also close enough to Governors Harbor, to the North, where you can eat breakfast at Da Perk, and it is close enough to one of my favorites for dinner and drinks, Wild Orchid, to the south. Oh! I forgot to mention the amazing sunsets! I never witnessed such amazing sunsets in my life! Finally, and the most impressive thing about Parlay is the attention to detail!! You can get the feeling that Diane cares about meeting the needs of all her renters. The kitchen is well stocked, and the outdoor area offers tons of water toys (kayaks, standup boards, inflatables, etc.). The packet you will receive will provide so much helpful information. This was super helpful especially in the off-season or during holidays when you may need to ask for an affordable chef or help with ordering groceries. Ken, the Property Manager rocks!! You will be well taken care of at Parlay.

Great vacation rental. Beautiful setting, no strangers.

Diana's house was perfect for our large family trip. Sitting right on the beach, the kids spent all day digging in the sand and wading out into the shallow, calm water (but do bring water shoes as suggested). The provided kayaks were great, as was the small beach cabana with Bluetooth speakers for getting shade. The house itself was great - updated, and extremely clean, and spacious enough for a group of 8 to relax and not get in each other's way. The kids play room was a great added bonus. Ken, the property manager, was extremely prompt and friendly. This was potentially the best vacation house we have ever stayed at.

Parlay at Sunset was the perfect island getaway for our family. We like to experience the local culture and plan our own excursions vs. staying at a resort. This property’s front yard with a gorgeous beach felt like a resort. Having the paddle boards and kayaks were amazing to explore Tarpum Bay. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything and more to prepare meals. Close to local stores in Tarpum Bay . One in walking distance. Fresh fish available at local dock in Tarpum Bay. Excursion with Eleuthera Outdoors and Captain John on Big Mac was a highlight of our trip. Got to visit Lighthouse beach before the Disney takeover. Cannot wait to return. This is the Bahamas and if you have never been, it is not the USA. Enjoy slowing down and not being in a hurry. Power goes off, Wi-Fi turns off but who cares? That is not why you visit. BTW Parlay has a backup generator which was AMAZING. Locals were so friendly and kind, helpful and welcoming.
