Beautiful setting in paradise. Very secluded. Place was clean but in need of some maintenance and some updates. Beautiful island.

It's rustic, but has everything you need from a fast internet to washer/dryer, microwave, etc. The beach is beautiful. If "you're fond of sand dunes and salty air" this is the place to be. The Eleuthera Island has so much to experience. It will fill all of your days.

Romantic cottage in perfect location! All the necessities… however larger coffee pot would be nice as we are the type that sip our morning brew taking in the beautiful surroundings. The only thing I wished for was a better mattress, it was soft without much support and pillows need immediate updates. Hoping when we return … otherwise 5stars. Reviewer Comments: The scenery at this rental is beautiful and it was cute & clean, however it did have some issues that for the price we found should have been dealt with. The cutlery was old and extremely dull one knife was missing a huge chunk. There were tons of spoons but not one spatula for cooking eggs, etc or on the grill. The mirror in the bath was hanging off the wall and had to be removed to the floor as well as the sliding doors in front of the w/d were very rusty and difficult to open/close, the water turned dark brown the eve of the second day & precluded us from feeling ok about showering, teeth brushing or washing dishes. The property caretaker did respond & said someone would be out however we did not see them & decided to leave early to treat ourselves to something more equipped as we couldn't use the accomodation as intended. It also should be noted while the ocean is right off of the steps (and gorgeous) it isn't swimmable without water shoes as there is a long ridge of coral/rock so it can't be accessed as a traditional beach. The porch & deck with lounge chairs however were very relaxing & bedding comfortable. We do understand salt water/air takes its toll & that water is limited so we were very careful as we had been at our first rental of the trip but with some updating this place would worth the money but at this price point there are others that are more maintained and modernized.

The views are incredible and there is no one on the beach. We were the only ones down there for our entire stay. This cottage is a great deal for the price! It's a drive, but well worth it.<br/><br/>Cons: The cottage could use a little TLC. There was only one snorkel mask we found on the porch outside and it seemed pretty old and worn. The beach chairs were ripped and broken. The cottage itself could use some love inside and out. But again, for the price, we couldn't complain! The beach was great, but we did have to walk a little ways to get in the water because of the many rocks near our cottage, but since we were the only ones out there, we didn't mind.<br/><br/>Overall, we had an incredible stay and will definitely book with this company in the future!

We stayed at Pink Sand Cottage for a week in mid-January. Ken had sent us all of the info (plus some) prior to our arrival and was quick to respond with any questions we had - along with some great recommendations which we followed & loved. January is still winter in the Bahamas so we had some windy weather & rough seas but it was literally the exact opposite on the Caribbean side. The central location on the island made it easier to get around to all of the things we wanted to see. Ken was able to set us up with a rental car contact & we had no issues with that process either. Overall, Pink Sand Cottage is a lovely little island spot that has what you need to set down a home base as you explore everything that Eleuthera has to offer (which is a lot)! Close to good food, great beaches, and private enough to make you feel like you are all alone on a little oasis!
