The Byre is a converted stone barn originally built in 1859 set in rural North Pembrokeshire and 6 miles from the town of Cardigan. The property has been completely modernised with LPG central heating throughout. It has 3 rooms downstairs, a large kitchen/diner, bathroom and reception area and upstairs a landing, sitting room and large bedroom. The property is set 1Km from the road and has 6.5 acres made up of 5 fields and bounded on two sides by a stream. It is surrounded by farmland (pasture) and is accessed via a track, making it a very safe place to bring your 4 legged friends and a wonderful spot for walks and games. Doggy friends will receive a warm welcome from the 5 resident Border Collies and if they wish can try out the Agility Equipment. With 6 acres of pasture we are also able to welcome ponies and horses

We enjoyed our holiday at the Byre, and our two dogs were made to feel so welcome with their own chair and some treats upon arrival. We humans also had some lovely treats to help settle us in, which was really nice after a long...More

About the neighbourhood
The Byre is surrounded by farm land that is well served with Bridle paths and footpaths. It is just 7 miles from the coast path at Ceibwr bay and four miles from walks along the Teifi valley at Cilgerran. How to get there
For sat navs the post code is SA37 0HX, but this still leaves you some way from the property. The Byre is situated off of theTenby- Cardigan road (A478). You need to get to the village of Blaenffos. If you come from the Tenby direction turn left at the chapel, (right if you come through Cardigan). Go past the playing fields on the left and carry on for about 300 yards. Turn right into an unsurfaced lane, house names Abertrinant and Gnol are shown. After 100yds turn sharp left and keep going for about 1/2 mile until you reach a blue house, just past this house the track splits, take the left fork and enter through the gate with Gnol on, keep going and The Byre is on your left. The key will be in the door if for some reason I am not there.
