Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer? Town: The village of Addingham is in the Wharfe Valley, between Ilkley and Skipton, and three miles from the Dales National Park. It offers a number of pubs, some serving food, shops and a golf course, all surrounded by countryside. A number of fine towns rest nearby, including Ilkley and Skipton, offering much to see and do. Meanwhile, the Dales is a landscape abundant in outdoor opportunities.

Lovely Property but with issues that need addressing
Addingham - lovely village and great location. The house is lovely and comfortable and well equipped. However, there are a couple of safety issues that despite being noted in the visitors book for the last six months have still not been addressed. The hot tap in the bathroom needs fixing. It is still coming away from the hand basin and is difficult/fiddly to turn on and off. The water is scolding hot and therefore it becomes hazardous to use. The bannisters are wobbly and sticky and consequently dangerous for anyone young or old or with mobility problems. For these reasons I would not stay or book again.
