This newly renovated property located in the fishing village of Portnablagh, 2 miles from Dunfanaghy. Three bedrooms makes it most comfortable for six persons but the twin room has a pull out bed that will accommodate a seventh person. Situated on an area of rugged coastline, there is a small pier beach within walking distance and a larger Blue Flag beach just 1 mile away. The Glenveagh National park is only a short drive away. Further west brings you to the Gaeltacht area - lots of craic and ceol with Letterkenny 20 miles away with its theatre, cinema, pubs, restaurants, shopping and lots more.Shop. Pub 1.5 miles. This is a very nicely decorated and laid out house. Kitchen and living room are upstairs with bedrooms downstairs. Lovely location in a nice quiet cul de sac.
Downside was that the house didn’t smell very fresh and there was a bit of extra cleaning to be done when we arrived as painter had been in and there was dust covering a lot of surfaces.

Lovely property and only a short walk from the beach
This is a lovely property, it is clean & tidy with sea views from the balcony. It is a short walk to Portnablagh pier and beach which is great for children. It is a short drive from Dunfanaghy and other local beaches. We would highly recommend it for families with children and will most likely be back next year.

Great balanced location with wonderful views
This house is situated 2km outside Dunfanaghy at the beautiful Portnablagh. The Cove restaurant is opposite the property and does great food with a great second story bar. The house is at the harbour which has two swimming areas for kids, boat hire and bicycle hire. The main surfing and kayaking beach is a 2-3 minute drive along the coast. There are lifeguards. We got a taxi every night as we were drinking, there are lots of locals who operate a cheap taxi service, just ask around. The house is great, bedrooms downstairs, with the living room and kitchen upstairs, open plan.
