Beautiful Victorian Terraced House in Cobh. Recently renovated with style, this comfortable house can host up to 8 guests in the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with toilets. Imagine yourself relaxing in the sofa with a nice glass of wine listening to traditional Irish music, after a day of walking and discovering of this beautiful area of Ireland. Situated in the middle of the hill, the house features: On the Ground floor, past the original hallway with traditional features, a comfortable living room with Sofa and chairs that opens into a separate dining room with large dining table. The separate kitchen includes all facilities (including washing-machine) and you can also use it as your breakfast room as it has another kitchen table! On the First Floor, you will find there are 2 bathrooms:...Beautiful Victorian Terraced House in Cobh. On the First Floor, you will find there are 2 bathrooms: one consisting of a walk-in shower room, toilet and washbasin, and on the same floor a further large bathroom consisting of a stand-alone bath, separate walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin with the best view of the Harbour! Pamper yourself in the large bath watching the liners coming in the harbour after a day of discovery! In the bay-window room, there are 2 beds (1 king size + 1 single) and another cosy bedroom with a traditional double bed. On the Top of the House, there is are two great bedrooms. Bedroom 3 consists of a King size bed and a single bed where you will recharge your energy for the next day! And Bedroom four consists of a Double Bed with view to the Cathedral. A cot can be supplied on request. By staying in this house, you will not only feel at home, but you will also be at the heart of a great community that offers: traditional pubs, nice restaurants, the unique Colemans’ Cathedral, the Titanic Museum, Cobh Heritage Centre, etc. all within a short walking distance. If you are a golf enthusiast, there are several golf clubs nearby (including Cobh Golf Club and Fota Golf Club) – ask us for more information as we can help with green fees. In the area, you can drive to Ballycotton and its magnificent cliff walks; visit the Stephen Pearce Pottery and the Shanagarry Cookery School, the Jameson Experience, Blarney Castle, etc. Trains and Ferries The train station is a very short walk downhill, which is accessed from the local heritage centre (25 minutes train journey to Cork City, with a regular train service). The Ferry is a further 2 miles drive from the house in the same direction, very well sign-posted. Car There is parking facilities in front of the house - and it is free. 2 Nights Accommodation Where possible, on request, we may be able to facilitate a 2 nights stay. Please enquire for details. Fireplace: not in use, feature only (under no circumstances are any of the fireplaces to be used for heating as we have an oil central heating system in place)More
